  1. It claims 42MPG urban and 60+ on a run. I don't think you can get more economical than that for the budget I have. There is one I am looking at and will probably go look at it tomorrow.
  2. After looking I think as you said its got to be a small petrol, after looking the 1.0L Suzuki Swift seems to be the most economical but what are they like?
  3. Just thought I would give this a bump and wondered if there were any updates. How is the clothing coming along ? I want a hoody !!
  4. I currently have a 1.4 8v astra and with most of my journey being less than 10 miles I am struggling to get 30MPG. Can people suggest a new more suitable car for me that will give me better MPG on short journeys, budget is around 500. Usual criteria apply cheap, reliable etc
  5. D8MOA was selling his don't know if he still has it. Do a search for hilux.
  6. Ignore me I am being a pudding about that
  7. That's most people out then with the height and wheelbase then. Infact even some people might get done on weight it they have big wheels and a bodykit. All depends on what kind of tolerance they are willing to accept.
  8. This is the same with the AA as well, looks like its common place for European cover
  9. People need to ckeck as the AA parts and labour won't cover you if your modified. It basically says that if something breaks that is related to non OEM equipment they won't cover it. This also in their T's and C's
  10. Adams quote must be wrong as my 95 M reg come in the same as yours Scott
  11. Right as from what I have read age only applies if you are covering a particular car if you have personal cover it doesn't state an age limitation on the vehicle.
  12. They don't cover vehicles over 16 years anyway and my Sup has its 17th Birthday in a couple of weeks. Plus reading there T&C's it doesn't sound that great RAC here I come.
  13. Holy cow bet you must have been gutted !! Glad you got out okay though, did you ever find out why it stuck open?
  14. Can you ask Branners if he can ask Sky as I imagine everyone is going to need it.
  15. They do and as this is a sanctioned club event surely they would be able to do us a good deal on a group buy type thing. As long as they do recovery to my house which they do then that is all I really need from them.
  16. I thought they offered it with their insurance? I might be getting mixed up though. Yes they do http://www.skyinsurance.co.uk/breakdown_recovery.html
  17. I mentioned this before but is there any chance of Sky providing us with a group breakdown cover for this club event? If there is 100% no chance then I will go ahead and make other arrangements.

It's mainly to down to very strict emission laws hence why they stopped selling them there from 1999.

Your best bet would be to try this forum as it is based in the US and some people might have done it before or be better explaining the legalities of importing a Supra. http://www.supraforums.com/forum/forum.php Forgot to say HI and Welcome
