For sale is my Cheap and chearful 1994 Vauxhall Astra 1.4. Its an LS model which means it has CL, ABS, PAS and EW. It's a five door with 115K on the clock which is quite low for this age of vehicle. Its has some rust on the rear arches but it wasn't even an advisory on the MOT and hasn't got any worse, some kind soul ripped off the rear wiper but this would be a cheap fix from a scarpyard. It has 4 months left on the MOT and 9 months tax on it. Update on this, after looking for ages I finally got myself a Suzuki Swift. Its a 52 plate with FSSH up to 40K, loads of receipts and has done a total of less than 55K miles. Its a 1.0 GLS model but it is apparently a Special Edition model as it comes with CL, ABS, PAS, EW, EM, spoiler and Bucket Seats which are actually really comfy plus they are very body hugging too. Its got two speakers mounted on the parcel shelf and aftermarket ones in the front which are quite good clarity. It had some work done to it last year inlcuding brand new front suspension replaced by Suzuki because of a recall, new clutch, new engine mounts, new battery and has 5 good tyres. I got it with 10 months tax and the only downside is MOT runs out this month but there were no advisories on the last MOT so hopefully should be ok. There are a few scuffs on the paintwork but nothing major and its just had a full service. How much did you pay for this I hear you ask ? A monstrous 380 quid

Not really if it had damaged the paint I would have claimed for a full respray. Why should you be left worse off becuase of someone elses spiteful actions?

Bang out of order really, it would have been funny if they had built a wall around it but putting on top with pebbles and grit that could damage the paintwork is stupid. If it were me I would have just bought a pack of chewing gum like H said but if I came back to that I would be going ape and rip the manager a new one !!

how much is the ram cooler ? Could be interested in this, how many hard drives do you run with at the moment?

You are not supposed to put it on when its wet so I would just leave it TBH. It's not the end of the world if it gets a bit of snow on it, its the salt that will kill it so don't drive it

I can't remember the thread but it was said that it is cheaper to replace rather than repair the box. Unless its fifth gear as this is the easiest to get to.

Will do plus its an 02 plate so tax is 95 a year
