No joke I hit mine with a hammer and it started working but there are loads of companies that will refurb it for a lot less than a new one. It's oxidation on the contacts that kills them will they are sat not spinning, if you are ok with taking it to bits and having a look it might just need a clean.

The orange one is low oil level I believe. Did you say you had changed the oil? Maybe the oil after be sat for so long as clogged some of the oil ways, I would use some engine flush and new oil to see if it helps.

It doesn't have the full functionality as the PC version because you wouldn't relaistically be able to do it properly on such a small touch screen. The Ipad version has more features I believe.

Petrol pump nozzles are bigger than diesel ones in petrol stations to prevent this from happening How did he manage to get it in to fill it?

To drain the tank can't you just run a constant voltage to the pump and take one of the fuel pipes off into a container?

How much is in the tank? Topping up with new petrol will be fine, think it might run like a pig if you try to run it on just the old fuel though.

I think the problem is they don't want to insure a car that could have potentially been fixed on the cheap which would then lead to it being involved in an accident. This would lead to a claim which they really don't want you to do that !!

If they are doing it alot it would be well worth investing in some carbon ceramic discs.

They use the brake to slow themselves down but counter this by using the accelerator to load up the engine creating more boost, when they are ready they release the brake and floor it. It is a great way to build up boost on a rolling start and also a great way to munch through brake pads / discs.

I would like this gone by the end of the week if possible as my parents hate me having two cars on the drive nevermind 3 !! So will take sensible offers around the asking price, I won't take less than scrap value though so no stupid offers please.

I drove this to and from Ireland also down to London a few times and it has never missed a beat. All I have had to spend on it is 50p for a bulb in the 7 months I have had it.

I was actually quite suprised at how nippy it is, it might only be a 3 cylinder but it weighs nothing so is actually not that bad to drive. Plus it only cost 95 quid to tax due to it being post march 2001.

Some insurance companies won't insure CAT cars and others charge more. Something to look at before getting it.
