  1. Thanks for that, I have reached out to them and hopefully they will respond
  2. Do you know the owner, tried contacting them about their Supra but no joy.
  3. This. Classic policies aren't always the cheapest either to add to the fun, I am with Lancaster on a normal policy which is cheaper than some are paying on a classic policy. Agreed value as rider says plays a huge factor now in pricing, with cars ranging from £25-60k for TT's alone.
  4. Are you looking at classic because of the price?
  5. Every year I say I’m going to put a picture forward and every year I forget. I WILL do it this year
  6. I’d imagine the shell is the most valuable part as numbers dwindle on UK cars. Some people in the states spend insane money on bare shells because of the VIN and the associated factory spec it came with.
  7. Is metal monkey still going? They were quite popular a few years ago.
  8. Only if your in a collision with another car and a claim is made, same as here really. There are lots of cars driving round that will have been in an accident and repaired without using their insurance. I mentioned it in another thread but this is a prime example of hyper inflation for low mileage cars, doubt it will sell for that but I think that price is more of an attention seeking one to draw interest on what is probably in the American market a $150,000 to $200,000 car going by recent sales.
  9. Hi Steve, just had a look and if you click other media when editing you post or creating a new one, one of the options is to add existing attachments which will include any photos you have uploaded to the forum. I can’t see your attachments to help unfortunately. Mike
  10. Hi and welcome. I’ll tag @listy here.
  11. Hopefully get to see this in the flesh in the not too distant future!
  12. I don't want to steel @Burna's thunder, but I think a fair summary would be a difference of opinion on driving style And that even with all the toys in the world, you can't buy driving ability He is still upset that he missed his golden opportunity to say "What's the retail on one of those?"
  13. Membership is £10 for the year and you can pay for it by clicking your name in the top right and manage subscriptions
  14. I think the confusion maybe that it is now not being sold under auction but at a fixed price so the fees are already added as they are a fixed price.
  15. HI Kyle, You will need to be a paid member to buy, sell and PM members Welcome to the club though!
  16. My Step mum is a Lexus fan and has had a range of cars over the years! RX300 non hybrid, GS F Sport Diesel, CT Hybrid and an NX hybrid at the moment. Never had a problem with any of them and she used to clock 200ish miles a week commuting in it. So comfortable to waft around in, lovely interior and full of gadgets as standard. NX does 30+ around town and 50+ on a run, not bad for a 2 tonne SUV.
  17. Are you going to go for an OE looking switch or something a bit more custom?
  18. It now says total price £40,500, does that mean it is no longer an auction but a buy it now price? If so, @ARPUS £45k looks like a sensible market value.
  19. Mileage will have played a large part in its price. Same car with half the miles would easily sell for £40k plus. But it’s a good reference point for what a car has actually sold for.
  20. Winning bidder was AL465. @Littler congrats ??
  21. After a quick search, this has been discussed a few times since 2003, the final conclusion each time is no UK spec cars had this from the factory. @shaz2010 sounds like something has been retrofitted given that no other UK car has it.
  22. There but no lighty for me either. Maybe it only works with the engine running? But like you, I assume it should come on with the light test as you said on start up.
  23. It's on it way up now at £29,250 Recognise a handful of the bidders as members.
  24. Just to confirm, we are talking about a seatbelt light when unbuckled?
