  1. I looked at electric before getting my current daily, but the price premium doesn’t outweigh the fuel saving so it was still cheaper to buy a petrol car. However there are now some not too bad looking cars on the market so I may be tempted next time around when the prices have come down.

    F1 2021

It’s the season fans have been waiting for since Hamilton went wheel to wheel with Rosberg.
  3. Went round to my dads and my car was parked for about 2 minutes before a cat jumped up on the bonnet and went to sleep!
  4. Bet you are happy to finally have it home I need to get some more pictures on my walls I think, I love the sign!
  5. Cats love to watch the world burn
  6. Hi, You are still a club member, there have been recent issues with an update that affects security and the way in which you log in. You will need to clear your internet browser cache and restart it which should rectify any issue you have with the functionality of the forum. Mike
  7. I have driven dozens of cars and all of them do this, don't think it is anything out of the ordinary and is designed to do that.
  8. This is normal and the same on every car not just Supra's I believe it's to prevent the battery draining as it isn't really recharging at idle speeds.
  9. That fence on the left, the wall, from on top of the car, from on top of the garage. Cat's can jump pretty high and also climb flat vertical surfaces they can get their claws into. Cat's regularly jump up and over my 8ft fence.
  10. Lovely collection of cars I went to the show a few years back and the turn out was great with lots to see.
  11. He lost any kind of credibility when he likened the compulsory vaccination to the Holocaust. How is the torture, rape, experimenting on, gassing, slave labour and genocidal extermination of a group of people because of their faith anything like telling people you must have a vaccination? It's quite disgusting that he even thought that it was a valid thing to say or that there was a comparison to be drawn. Complete Idiot and speaks a lot about his character if that kind of crap is flying round in his head.
  12. And the US has never cooked up a story against it's enemies to justify their actions or to instigate blame? Nobody trusts our own politicians, not sure why people would think the US senate is any different? Everyone is out for their own gains, of course everything in this thread could be true but potentially, it may be not. Spoiler Alert: People lie.
  13. A replacement will be hard to come by that doesn't have the same issue which is most likely dry solder joints which is common in these. I would get yours re-soldered unless you have confirmed it is broken in a different way or that you don't have one in the first place?
  14. can you drop a @Josh42 a PM and he can run you through the process.
  15. Lovely looking car Never been a fan of the stretched tyre look plus it wouldn't last long over here in the UK until you had a blowout or a destroyed alloy with the state of the roads!
  16. This will be a growing area so it would be great to have a few more hobbyists to help out if you want to enquire about it
  17. I guess the car is not a daily? There have been instances of people upgrading power and falling out of love with their car due to losing some of the drivability the stock system / hybrids gives plus the added noise depending on what you change (clutch rattle, brakes noise etc). Have your ever driven or been in a single turbo car? Not everyone can get on with them so be sure that you can live with the different setup. A lot has changed in 18 years, values have sky rocketed and OEM parts become ever rarer! If you ever want to go back to stock, I would keep any parts that come off the car as it's most likely you won't be able to get them soon and the second hand market has already gone bananas.
  18. Thanks for offering to help out, if you would like to offer this help to more members then let us know and we can look at if this falls under hobbyist status
  19. For someone new and doing it for a bit of fun, I found Binance incredibly easy to use.

    Bargain!

They were still helpful as a rough guide though I agree though that extreme examples of hyper inflated prices for the most rare of cars inherently brings up the overall average price, plus the fact that the number of cars in the UK shrinks year on year with exports and accidents.
  21. I was going to ask on the other thread, did he see the car in person or just what you sent? I know that when someone went to Jurgen he wanted to have the car on site to do the valuation although during lockdown he was doing them from pictures.
  22. The awards are based on the number who have achieved them on the forum so most will be rare to begin with, hope that didn't rain on anyone's party I'm almost an apprentice, it's probably sad that I am excited about levelling up
