  1. I was attempting to put in a new car radio in because my last one was garbage. Everything was working at one point then suddenly didn't anymore. I tested my radio with my car battery and it was working, so it's not the radio that's broken. It seems like the yellow wire has stopped responding, which I assume is one of the main power wires. I just put my dashboard back together for today and will attempt to do the radio again tomorrow. My AC doesn't work nor does my clock or any of the lights on the dashboard except the speedo. There's a fuse box beside my right foot for the interior, if the wire stopped working should it be a fuse? I'm just asking because it died while I was working with it, and find that strange..... thanks in advance.
  2. nice supra mate, but I think the headlights look brutally ugly. Should have just gotten the 98 supra headlights.
  3. is it hard to remove the disc? I'll remove it. I don't have the time anymore to play around, I'm just going to leave it at my friends shop and he'll take it off for me.
  4. ... So when I got my car from Japan it already had the adapters on the 7.5J rims it came with for the rear. My right side one simply just came off, it was just a spacer. My left side it seems to be stuck in place with those round gray bolt things. I pecked at it with a hammer to see if it would loosen, but It didn't. What can I try or should do to remove it? my news rims will be 18x10 +25 offset for the rear, so I need it off http://img189.imageshack.us/img189/29/img0292pg.jpg http://img85.imageshack.us/img85/4039/img0293st.jpg http://img121.imageshack.us/img121/4357/img0295ui.jpg cheers
  5. matte colors is out the picture, I could get a color one but it would cost a lot more and not worth it. It's either matte white or black. but after seeing this picture, I don't have to think twice.
  6. alright thanks, I'll relocate the 3 corners, my front left is in the right position according to those pictures in that thread.
  7. very nice. what year is it?
  8. I have no wheels, and this is how it's sitting right now. The rears have two jacks, I placed them beside the brakes. also for the fronts, left is on the supra jack i got out my truck, and the right is sitting on wood (behind the brakes). I just want to make sure there isn't any stress on anything. My wheels and tyres should be here in a week. http://img256.imageshack.us/img256/7411/img0297d.jpg http://img32.imageshack.us/img32/9678/img0298ru.jpg
  9. what I mean is, I can have 5 cars, but a Supra will still be in my collection. Obviously not the same car, but a MK4 Supra. there is just so much you can do with the car, even if your rich the better you can do with the car!
  10. sounds good. do you think I should get a 275 or 265 in the rear? reason I say 265 is just incae the offset is too aggresive.
  11. 4 months, and will continue to own one for the next 20 years or so.
  12. well I just paid for the rims, and my car is sitting on jacks right now. So they better fit lol, I also ordered 275 tires for the rear. Maybe if they touch for a bit, I can drive somewhere and get them rolled? or will my car even be driveable at all?
  13. My friend from the United States is selling his rims, and i want to buy them off him. He needs to sell them by tomorrow becuase he's leaving for vacation so I need to give him a deposit so he can ship them. the front: 18x8.5 +30 offset the rear: 18x10 + 25 offset the fronts will have 235/40/18 tires the rear will have 275/35/18 tires (or should I do 265 since it's a tight fit). My car is lowered right now pretty low. will I have troubles fitting these rims? what kind of fender work will be required? if any at all. THANKS
  14. I decided to keep her. I'll try to snatch myself up a 1996 twin turbo 6-speed in the near future.
  15. okay actually I'm not sure if I'll be able to get a matte color. I'm being told now it's either matte white or matte black. I was told white is hard to mainain. I think black would look nice?
  16. I just wanted to make sure my desale value doesn't go down by too much when lets say I rack up 160,000+ by next year when I'll be selling it most likely.
  17. Hey grey looks really nice, that just made it to the top of my list The rear quarters connect to the roof without any divisions so they said some overlapping will take place and joins in the smaller spots. Also the largest piece of vinyl will not be able to cover the hood lenth or width wise, so it will also be overlapping. It seems like a bad thing, but once it's done you won't be able to tell, maybe if you put your face up close to it.
  18. nope mines been kept in good condition. it just has a few bumps on the body which I'll be fixing right away if I decide to keep it.
  19. Is this worth it, or shouldn't I stress it and just enjoy my car and make it look nicer as it is. sell 1993.5 SZ 5-spd with 142,000 KM and get 1994 or 1995 SZ/SZ-R with about 100,000 KM 5-sped. The only reason I wanna sell my car is becuase it has 142,000km and it's 1993. Just because it was 1994 or 1995 with less KM I would feel better about that, I don't know why. or should I just keep my Supra and sell it next summer and get twin turbo ?
  20. I'm getting my Supra wrapped by a motorsports shop out of town and I will be either getting it wrapped in matte white or matte red! I don't want matte black becuase I think it's played out and everyone has it these days. My car has top secret body kit and it's alpine silver.
  21. oh, didn't know that. how much do the real top secret sides cost?
  22. what kind of front bumper is this, looking for the manafactur here is a picture I found. http://img39.imageshack.us/img39/2006/4941740805caa788ebffb.jpg
  23. I'm looking to get some "replica" top secret side skirts. anyone know a place I can get them, I'll buy them from US, Canada, Asia, doesn't matter to me. I know people who get them but don't know from where! cheers
