  1. Hi everyone, I'm after a bit of assistance with an issue that has recently cropped up and I hope that someone can help me out To cut a log story short, 3 weeks ago, my car was starting first time, every time no issues. 2 weekends ago, I pulled out the engine and transmission, swapped the transmission and put them back in again. I've connected up all of my wiring (except for 1 ground connector at the back of the engine - I cannot find that one at the moment) and whenever I try to start my car, I get a constant ticking from the engine bay and it continues even when I switch off the ignition and remove the key. The only way that I can get it to stop is to remove the negative lead from the battery terminal. I managed to narrow the ticking noise down to the starter motor and ever since then, I've been trying to figure out why this is happening. During the reconnection process, I tidied up any wiring that I had going to the chassis ground point that the battery uses and any connections that used the positive terminal by adding connectors like this: I am yet to try starting without those connectors attached - it's on my to-do list for this evening. So far I have tried: Bypassing the Park/Neutral switch Redoing parts of the wiring for the Park/Neutral switch (in case they were shorting), Cleaning the connector and terminal of the Park/Neutral switch (in case there was liquid in there causing a short) Tidying up the wiring under the dash to make sure that there were no shorts (there were some wires that I added for a new TCU that I have now removed and thus, removed the excess wiring) Tried removing the starter relay to determine that the issue is definitely on that circuit. My battery was recharged about 4 weeks ago, the indicator on the battery is still green and as I said, just prior to removing the engine and transmission, it started perfectly fine. I am keeping the battery disconnected when the car is not is use at the moment, as I don't want it to discharge. Does anyone have any pointers as to what it could be that is causing this issue? I've never experienced this issue before and this is the third time in 12 months that I've pulled the engine and transmission, never had anything like this happen. Thanks for your time!

  3. Hi Keron, Do you have a working cigarette socket, the UK fuel tank and pump? If so, how much would the each be?
  4. Can I have the fuel pump, please?
  5. I have a set of pre-facelift headlights. I can get some pics to you if you're interested and go from there?
  6. Morning! I'm interested in the engine undertray - would you be willing to post? Also, please could you send a pic of the passenger footwell plastic? If it's what I'm after, I'm wouldn't that too, but I'll let you know.
  7. If Swampy does not have one, I certainly do.
  8. Hi. Mark, Is this an NA or TT fuel pump ecu?
  9. Thanks for the speedy response! I'll have them, thanks, I'm not overly worried about the broken tab, I'll make it work. Please send me your payment details and I'll get that sorted.
  10. As above, I'm looking for the speaker grilles for both front doors. Please do get in touch if you have a set that you no longer need.
  11. Item: 2 x Pre-Facelift 2JZ Engine Mounts Condition: New Price:- £300 (for the pair) Postage:- £20 (insured) or collect from Peterborough Hi, I bought these engine mounts a few weeks ago as my engine mounts had split. They were advertised as UZZ30/31 mounts but when I tried fitting them I found that they did not fit - closer inspection of the part number (see pic 2 below) revealed that they were Supra 2JZ mounts. Thus, these are now surplus to requirements as I have purchased and fitted the correct pair of mounts. Apart from holding one of them up to my engine mount bracket a couple of weeks ago, these mounts are brand new and unused. I'm looking to get back what I paid for them (minus shipping and import taxes). Please do get in touch if you have any questions!

  13. Spotted this morning whilst I was searching for a parking space.
  14. If these haven't gone, I would like them, please.
  15. Spotted you yesterday evening. I was heading eastbound in my Supra, saw the intercooler before realising it was another Supra
  16. Shane, thank you very much for organising yesterday's meet, I really enjoyed it and it was great to put names to faces! The added bonus of being able to chat all things V8-Supra related with fellow Supra owners and other visitors was excellent too
  17. I'll probably hang around until around 21:00-ish.
