  1. Silver, M-reg, hard top. I spotted you heading West-bound on Oundle Road at 17:35 this evening .
  2. Hi all, As above, I'm looking for the valve body and solenoid wiring loom from a TT auto transmission. If you have one that you no longer need/you're happy to let go of, please let me know. Thanks!
  3. Gotta love the sound of a V8 in a tunnel
  4. I really enjoyed yesterday and it was great to see all who could make it! Thanks to everyone who was involved in the planning and execution . I had to head off in the end as tiredness was starting to catch up with me. Made it home by 20:00 after a detour for some (more) fuel and dinner. Pictures and a video will pop up in due course.
  5. Thanks for these - will give it a go. I don't have a TomTom, but apparently, Google Maps can read GPX file, so I'll give that a go, if .not, then I'll just use the links provided. I like to test these things .
  6. Sorry to hear this, my best wishes to you all.
  7. I'm in, not sure whether I'll come down the night before or go hardcore, leave home really early and do it all in one day.
  8. I do hope that this does take place again this year
  9. 1 x Adult Saturday Only ticket bought. Looking forwards to seeing you all there!
  10. Baston Car Show at Grimsthorpe Castle.
  11. Indeed; that was the main reason why I held right back! I honestly do not know what their thought process was at that time, but they need to change it otherwise they will cause an incident! Thank you! I recently resolved an issue with the primary idler pulley at the top of the engine, just before the supercharger pulley and that allows the engine pick up and respond far more quickly. I can put my foot down at any time and it takes off - I am quite happy with that !
  12. I know that it has been a long time since I updated this thread but I do have an update in the works. It is quite a long one though, as it details the issues that I have experienced, upgrades/improvements that I have made and the general experience of driving of driving my Supra in its new setup. In the mean time, here is a recent video of me taking my Supra out for a run. Let me know your thoughts.
  13. Scooter is right, Ed has the 2UZ with a 6 speed manual, I do believe. I'm in the process of finalising a video of a quick run of mine from last week when the weather was decent. Once it's finished, I'll share it on here .
  14. Sounds good! I'm guessing that Lexus were being quite conservative with the noise the exhaust made; not sure why. If you've got it, flaunt it !
  15. I agree with this. To be honest, my kids have been calling me out on how much time I spend doing stuff on the car and despite what I said last August, I have contemplated selling, only because that I don't know whether I will stop modding and changing things. I have not decided for sure yet, but I am weighing up how much I want to do to get it to a point where I can say "ok I can stop now" and how long is going to take/much work I need to do to get there. IF I do decide to, then I will probably get another fast and fun Toyota/Lexus, as we already have the family car, but I will get something that I won't need to do anything to or, if I do decide to mod it, then it won't be a mod that will take months of planning and collecting of parts. We'll see...
  16. Just a side note to all of us who have V8s - it would be great if we could all be together when parked at the event as visitors and spectators can see them all and ask questions about the differences, etc., (if the last event that Phil and I attended a couple of weeks ago is anything to go by, there WILL be questions ). Would you all be happy if we were together in the convoy so that we're parked together? It's entirely optional and I'm just putting it out there .
