  1. Let me know what you think of the purple d2's. I have them on mine. I like them but the car came with them so it would be good to get a before and after perspective.

  4. First car I was obsessed with (and eventually became my first car); mkiii supra saw the mkiv supra at the Scottish motor show in the 90's for the first time. I might still have pictures somewhere. And my eyes popped out my skull (and is my current and seccond car) only ever owned supras. Nice tradition to keep

    Hello

Welcome!, hope you enjoy the forum.
  9. I've a '95 Uk auto. Haven't registered it on any lists on here yet
  10. Seen a thread from a few years ago about shaky steering wheels but they didn't seem to be addressing the problem I've been having. Since getting the car last year i've been annoyed at up and down play in the steering wheel and after getting an mot advisory regarding it I thought it was time to get the trim off and have a look. The problem comes from the ratchet used for adjusting the steering column up and down. When engaged is seems to still let it move up and down a bit. After looking at it for a while it seems that the left ratchet is sticking on the release position when you ask it to re-lock. Seems to have greese that has started to go quite hard and sticky. I persuaded it to push in to fit securely with my finger and it gives a noticeable click into place. This solves the up and down movement by about 90% and is a quick fix if I don't use the tilt leaver again, however it would be good to sort it propperly. Anyone had problems with this themselves and had a go at fixing it? Cheers ps this should be under technical- sorry
  11. If thats true I must have been really unlucky last week, Stopped for doing 43 in a 30. 3 points and £60 fine. Traffic Police with lazer gun just before a 30>40- Peeking out from behind a wall.
  12. Silver jspec looked like bpu, gav on the plate, drove past and looked at a big fire engine at shields rd underground at 7.45am but didn't see me in the back of it giving the thumbs up!
  13. It's rear arches when viewed from behind are amazing. Looks muscular How Toyota engineers described the then new design of the mk iv supra; The major development objectives of the new Toyota Supra are as follows: .... A dynamic composite dimension reminiscent of the firm musculature and physique of a speeding beast.
  14. I might try that. It's really hard not to put the foot down at times. Radio off, turbos spooling. It's relaxing. But I just had a look at all the stuff I'd have do disconect to remove the turbo heat shield to get at the o2 sensors and i'm not at all confident at doing it untill I learn what does what...
  15. were the replacement o2 sensors you used eBay, or Toyota?
  16. Do you have an email address and I'll mail you it?

  20. I searched lemon and found loads of info on this issue! Lol Found out it's lemon juice (on it's own or with a mix of bicarbonate of soda) you soke them in. Also seen nic replying to pretty much the same question from 2010. U must have the patience of a saint! Lol- sorry, untill I searched lemon not a lot came up. Also people tend to say eBay sensors don't do a lot where as the Toyota parts make a noticeable difference. It's now done 90k miles, so prob wouldn't hurt to replace them. I think I was wrong about one sensor reading the air intake temp, am I right in thinking one is before the cat and one after on the Uk TT? Lemon juice test may tell me if it's time to change them as I understand it's a temp fix. Just hope Its straight forward to remove them- don't want to snap anything! :0
  21. Are u saying I should slice open a Lemmon and ram the tip in overnight? Sounds like a prank but it's the 2nd time I've heard it lol i agree it would pay for it's self quite quickly, just not sure it's the reason I'm getting 230 miles and others are getting 340. Worth a try I suppose!
