  1. Just had a respiratory too!? Cheap
  2. Good buy for someone. It’s rarity makes the effort to restore it worthwhile.
  3. Those link pipes don’t look bad at all. My back one looked like that, and the front one was starting to look bad
  4. I’ve a pristine one in the attic too; figured if ever selling to Europe it might help with countries that require it to be “stock, stock” to come in. Still have a first cat with the Toyota sticker and cable tie on it too. The centre section with the cat was over £1000 to replace.
  5. Rang Toyota there out of interest for prices for the stock exhaust. Found out they were discontinued sometime around 2011, and last prices were: 1st cat: £750 2nd cat: £1050 Silencers: £360 Back box: £320 Ooft.
  6. Press “forum” above and the stats are at the bottom.
  7. Finally! About time he had one on. Looking forward to seeing what he thinks. Hope it’s a tastefully done bpu, but prob not. Cheers for the heads up. Just talked me out of changing over disks and pads! Edit: had no idea it was a paul walker feature. I’ve seen all of these shows and this is the first time that the car isn’t the real subject matter, so not to put down what the interview contained, as some have said, it didn’t get the same attention as a car would normally get, and that’ll be it ticked off now as being on the show.
  8. Welcome You’ll find there are some differences with it being a UK in regards to going BPU but nothing bad, just check when you’re buying parts. White with ivory interior?
  9. Ha! My mistake. Should learn to read!
  10. might be the difference with my bpu mods
  11. That’s fantastic. Think I’m £100 more with lynbrook. Do you have any mods included?
  12. No problem. Let me know if it doesn’t sell. Everything looks so clean
  13. There is a set of uk fronts in the for sale section for £320
  14. Look forward to that Imagining what it would be like dropping down using the paddles for a sweeping bend on a nice road and shifting up while powering out with the same character of the stock box but unleashing its full potential.
  15. I just read through your thread mate, after missing it the first time round. What great work youv’e done off your own back. Very impressed. I love the way it can be easily returned to stock etc. Goes along with my thinking on mods too. If I had the funds I’d seriously consider looking into it. As it stands I hope you get it off the ground and make even more of a success of it. Would love to see a video demonstration of it working on some twisty roads; car review style. Think it would hopefully seriously boost your interest too
  16. I can see how that might be useful I suppose. Disabling it would be good right enough.
  17. Haha 12:10 on the button.
  18. Did I see something saying TGT isn’t being renewed after season 3?
  19. Well jealous, it’s around this time of year you get the itch if it’s been off the rd. still a bit too wintery here so it’ll likely be April before I get back in it, but always enjoy the feel of that first drive in ages. Feels like a toy getting in it.
  20. I’ve been enjoying the new format, but agree it was hard too watch that rx-7 getting bashed about. Chris Harris said on Twitter he was seriously considering buying it himself and fixing it. Possibly guilt from all the tweets he’s been getting about ruining it.
  21. My issues with the stock alarm are that if you leave the car undriven for 1 or 2 weeks it drains the battery, and also it arms the alarm it’s self if you get out the car, don’t lock it and open the door again 10 secs or so later and goes off.
  22. Press and hold the black button and it should silence it for a few seconds. Sometimes it doesn’t. Either way, put the key in and to the on position. Don’t start, and keep pressing and holding the black button until it stops. It’s a bit of a black art. I have to deal with it every spring when it comes out of hibernation too. It’s just the alarm is a pita. Yes, red is just panic button. Split the fob open and replace the battery in there. It’s an unusual size but easily ordered on eBay etc.
