  1. Don't know the ins and outs of your dispute, but you would think someone with 37 / 100% positive feedback would be trustworthy, and no doubt you are. Like Abz says, the mods do a great job running the forum, it runs very smoothly because of it, and I value their discretion they use to protect me from people that might cause a problem if I was to otherwise hand money to them only to be messed about, if its a misunderstanding, like it seems to be on the face of it, Give the mods time to make an informed decision but keep your cool and I'm sure all will be well. Think of it as if you are accused of something at work and are suspended while they investigate, it's inconvenient but if you're innocent you shouldn't worry. Showing good spirit goes a long way and its what's good about this forum.
  2. £5 to get in, or £2.50 if you are over 60, 6 goals.... 1 penalty and old men 4 ft away from the linesman psychologically pummelling him in turns with comments like "is that what you aspire to?" Referring to the refs performance, amoung less subtle shouts
  3. I didn't count the penalty, that was a formality, the thrill was over by then
  4. Turned out to be a nicer day in the afternoon than was forecast! Ross and I met a few people I know and headed 20 min to shawlands to watch pollok v hurelford in the top junior football division- Hurelford won 5-2 in a 6 goal thriller, with pollok finnishing with 9 men, much to the rage of the home support (mostly 60-70 year old men) who proceeded to hurl hilarious abuse at the ref and his linesmen for the majority of the game. And they could hear it! Lol. Can't repeat half as people have been banned on here for less! Can I be the first to acknowledge that Ross C, is leaving for his year away in Canada on Wednesday and id like to thank him for all he has done organising meets etc and wish him all the best on his trip. Pump one or two for me Ross! (Girls) Leaves the question who will step up amoungst us to organise the xcape meets??...
  5. Low fuel warning light.
  6. Day after the wife's due day mate so I'm out, sorry.
  7. Ross said to me the 10th also sunny. Sure he will be along shortly to confirm. Hopefully it'll be a good day and turnout to see him off
  8. Ha I did the same and I was dead on 12. Some of the karts were faster than others- also some had twice as much steering as others. I liked that there was an element of bias. You've just volunteered yourself to organising the next one mate, good on you
  9. It was a good laugh, we should do it again at some point, although Ross did well dragging a few extra people along. Liam, hope your neck isn't too bad, I'm surprised you're the only one with an injury! Sunny, I think you are about a stone lighter than you say you are! Do you have wee skinny legs or something? Ryan, do you even log on anymore? I'd be worried the damage we would do with the 70mph karts in Edinburgh....
  10. No problem, thanks for the assistance. That's a pretty good time mate. My fastest lap was 29.87- need more practice. Really enjoyed it and even though the last session was a bit stop and start, it was definitely the most fun. Turn 1 on the green light with 5 all fighting for the one corner and nobody braking ending in a pile up when turning was good fun. Also trying my hardest to catch up to Ryan after he clipped me and I spun out only to catch him and return the favour by sending him into the wall and braking his kart (was a bit of an accident Sunny, you were like 3 tenths faster than me every time! How nobody got a warning flag I don't know lol.
  11. Sounds bad, i had a battery explode on me last month trying to jump start one that was past its best (not the supra) Luckily there was very little battery acid left and it didn't spew out enough to hit anyone. The hissing sound could be (at a guess) the battery becoming dry and similar to how mine went. If you take the car to halfords they can tell you if its damaged and needing replaced by running a diagnostic check for free. But common sense might tell you it shouldn't really be red hot and hissing at you should it. To me that's a warning tot to continue charging it. Stay safe, you don't want battery acid on you. That experience I had gave me a new respect for the potential harm the battery can do, it was like a gunshot and popped my ears.
  12. Still waiting on a few deposits, if I get everyone's in I can book the date tomorrow. £10 via paypal please
  13. We require to pay a £10 deposit each for this. Ross is sending me deposits for him Liam and his mate so I just need £10 from tony and Sunny please. Paypal details; [email protected] Cheers
  14. Hi, and welcome Nice way to introduce your car history. I really like gun metal grey on a supra.
  15. Cool mate no probs. keep in mind it shuts at 8pm
  16. I thought id get confirmation of the 6 and phone and pay the £10 deposit tomorrow. Is Liam def up for this too? Yeah I'd def be up for that! Mrs will be due to give birth on 14th June though so it will depend on when it is nearer the time. If it's good we can do it again next year when you're back Ross
  17. Soak with a generous helping of wd 40 and let it soak for a while (I left it a day) 2 out of the 3 bolts can be reached with the 4" + the 12" (aprox- the long one) And the 3rd one you will need the knuckle fixing to get the right angle. Take it slow and keep the socket flush with the bolt. Don't get impatient as you don't want to round off the bolt. That's how it did mine but it can be luck how easy they come off. Others will say heat them up with a torch but I didn't have this. Good luck
