  1. I would try that as a last resort mate, I'd be worried if I messed it up! Cheers though What do you do to seal them when finished?
  2. I've got 275 tyres on the rears and I'm getting some light rubbing when going over bumps (265's before hand didn't rub) I'm looking for someone in the area that an be trusted to do a good job if anyone can recommend somewhere please. I'd rather not have them shaved as I've heard it can effect the stiffness of the panel. Cheers
  3. Seen you just added me- I'm level 28 hunter but only play rumble. Get anoyed with raids as folk always give up. Also hardly on anymore but if you let me know when the raids are happening I'll try to join if you add me to your fire team. Never get any good gear anymore as lacking in coins etc from not doing raids.
  4. I'm away to Cyprus for a week from the 3rd of May, if I can make the date I'll be there.
  5. Good to see it's almost back with you mate. Nice wheels also
  6. If I advertised a link to a for sale thread on the club Facebook, you would need to log in to the forum (as a paid member) to view it in the for sale section, providing a fail safe. I respect your point about a free market, but I'd just prefer to use the forum.
  7. I get what you are saying there, but it just seems like it has the potential for offering a workaround for paying a membership fee to people that would have previously joined to browse the for sale section. The comment was made out of concern it could harm the club is all. The club has a Facebook page, could we use that to link to a for sale thread if people want to increase the exposure of a for sale thread? Plus, most folk on here use eBay to sell parts if they don't shift on the forum do they not? "Last chance before it goes on eBay" etc
  8. Does anyone else think that the principle of using that page to buy and sell undermines our own for sale section/ membership perks? Perhaps if folk want the convenience of using Facebook to buy sell we could use the club Facebook page? People are obviously free to do what they like, but as a member of this club, I don't think I will be using it from a matter of principle.
  9. Look for areas where stones could be sitting. I once found one rattling ontop of a bracket. Was glad it was that simple!
  10. Not seen the f&f 7 yet but checking twitter/here it seems everyone is loving the inclusion of Paul's personal white supra. Here is a bit from an interview with him where he talks about it. Thought it might be of interest. Paul Walker in an interview (PASMag) answering the question, “what is your favorite car from the Fast and Furious movies?” Paul: I really like the 2JZ in the Supra. I love that motor, it’s a lot of fun. The Supras are a f*ckin’ kick in the pants. I finally got one recently — I got a ’95, a white one with really low miles — it’s got under 30,000 miles on it. It’s all stock! I’m so tempted to build that thing up because that one was really fun. Remember how ridiculous they looked with those wide body kits on the Supras? They looked mean! That car is really, really — that’s a fun car. The RB26 in the R34 is a really fun motor, although super temperamental; not nearly as reliable as the 2JZ. But an RB26, whether it’s a R32, R33 or R34 Skyline is a really fun car. I’m not a big fan of the 35, the drive itself — it’s just, I don’t know — I think it’s relatively uninspired. You just don’t have enough exhilaration, there’s not enough driver input anymore. I’m like the old school guy, I like the art of driving. And there’s no denying the way things are going, you know, with this Formula One type — whether it’s DCT or the Porsche one, the new PDK is really good — but I like the manual transmission. I just like it. And I’m disappointed to see — I know for sure that it’s going away — it’s going to be a thing of the past. 11. Welcome, and congrats on fulfilling a dream
  12. Hi, welcome to the club I thought for a minute that this was my Supra as mine is a UK silver auto with black leather interior too. Also bought from a guy in sterling! The history you've stated doesn't match though. Did his have a car phone?
  13. It actually makes you realise what a special fire breathing thing the mark IV is. The new generation will have a gap in supra DNA so large that I'm not even getting worked up about it letting the name down. The Mk IV was the best toyota could do. The lfa was the same of modern times. Toyota have their own wind tunnel and one of only 2 carbon fibre weaving machines in the world, so to learn that they aren't building it where their best resources are should tell you what you need to know about the new "flagship".
  14. Just see this. Apparently he was on a final warning and was told he would be out the door if he cause any further offence any time anywhere. Had a busy up with a production staff member was it? Give Chris Harris the job!!
  15. Kinda respect honda for not copying Mercedes. There is a gap between the turbo though so they have taken notice.
  16. As long as the mac and cheese is back on the menu I'm in Cool, hopefully we get a few more cars this year, but with that comes managing a larger convoy. Looking forward to it already
  17. Probably will be mate, it's his baby I helped last year so will prob do the same again. You up for it?
  18. 19. Now I've messed up my nice round 1000 post count replying

  21. That didn't take long. Hope you got what you wanted for it, and that it's the first step to a TT in the future. On a lighter note, at least you will be able to leave the house 10 min later now if you are walking places
  22. Sorry to see but good luck with the sale and bite your tounge on the negatives and talk it up while selling it!
