He has inspired some of today's youth/ and some not so youthful to engage in politics for the first time because he offers a clear difference on political views from the government.
Also, regardless of opinion on him, you can't help but think that he believes in what he's talking about; he has an agenda, but puts it out there to be judged on. I think that has gained him a lot of respect in an invironment where politicians are often guilty of saying anything to get them ahead without believing in what they are saying.
To many he's a breath of fresh air and I hope those who opposed him in his party get behind him to form an opposition party out of Labour for the first time in a while.
