  1. He has inspired some of today's youth/ and some not so youthful to engage in politics for the first time because he offers a clear difference on political views from the government. Also, regardless of opinion on him, you can't help but think that he believes in what he's talking about; he has an agenda, but puts it out there to be judged on. I think that has gained him a lot of respect in an invironment where politicians are often guilty of saying anything to get them ahead without believing in what they are saying. To many he's a breath of fresh air and I hope those who opposed him in his party get behind him to form an opposition party out of Labour for the first time in a while. What a shake up there has been recently.
  2. Look nice and clean now. Well done
  3. Scott is helping me with my Sard Trigger, so that's what solenoid it is. chris, is the issue with testing the voltage sent by the boost controller not that it only sends the signal to actuate once it has reached the preset value? I.e 1.2 bar, making it difficult to test while standing over it.
  4. I would hardly call it petty, nobody is squabbling here. I just drew attention to the fact that they (uk specs) are not all in a poor state; and I felt the need to express that due to them being misrepresented quite often is all. If you're buying a car go and look at it. Pretty simple
  5. Have fun guys, hope the weather holds out for you all
  6. Another owner of a nice clean UK spec here. What happened to them all being rust buckets?...
  7. That picture of the rear is amazing. It looks like its just been painted. Effort paid off
  8. Good stuff mate! It's like you passed your test just to get driving lessons again Hope it's the first of many shots!
  9. Hi keron, hou have PM from me. Cheers
  10. Thanks for the advice Tim and good news about the offer. Seems a few folk will appreciate it
  11. Tim, I've had several members recommend 10w-50 for bpu instead of the 5w-40. The reasoning being that 5w might run the risk of pushing past seals that might be getting on a bit now. I know the 5w-40 oils once warm are the equivalent of 10w-40 and thicken up, but on start up with the oil not yet at that temp/ thickness is it at risk of pushing past the seals? On a side note, it would be great to get some of the 20% off codes for the 10w-50 versions of the oils that were just on offer there at 5w-40. Cheers Marcus
  12. Gordy that cat was some of your best work; before you went down hill a bit with it to be honest. You are cheap though, I'll give you that.
  13. Great effort! That's you on the home stretch now!
  14. Have a look at a Saab 9-3 areo sportswaggon. 1.9tdi with decent space inside and the trim levels look good at the top spec. Leather seats are comfy and the heated seats are amazing (Saab invented them) plus the 9-3 estate looks good.
  15. What's peoples opinion on both of these boost controllers? I'm hearing good things about the Sard trigger. Let's assume I have both
  16. Ive just done 670 miles in manu mode in some of the best twisty roads Scotland has got, and i can honestly say the auto box is amazing. In 2nd in manu going round bends you really feel the grip and gives you a lot of confidence knowing where the grip/power is. We had a manual TT struggling to shift at the same rate as us autos and as said previously, less chance of a miss shift. Manuals are awesome btw but the auto box is a lot of fun too.
