  1. Graham, I had remembered you saying so reserved you a twin en suite already Your deposit will be £70+£60= £130 and your twin room upgrade will be £20 in total (just taking the deposit first once we have the facility online) That's a shame about the boat trip, but I guess it can't be helped. We will need to rendezvous with you after it. There is plenty to do on Skye so I'm sure the two of you could plan a distraction for half the day. Let me know if you'd like some suggestions
  2. No problem Havard, I'll update the list for you Apologies for the lack of info on the boat trip, there actually isn't very much about it on this years thread, so I'll provide some info. The AquaXplore boat trip sets off from Elgol, on the south west corner of Skye, in the beutiful setting of the dramatic black Cullen mountains. This area was popular recently with where Bear Grills took Ben Stiller on his show and also where Danny Mcaskill made his famous "Ridge video"; in fact you would be setting foot on the same boat that the previously mentioned people used to get dropped off on http://youtu.be/xQ_IQS3VKjAhttp://youtu.be/qrHGP_uKnGE I and others counted this trip as one of the highlights of the trip last year so I would highly recommend it The drive down there is worth it it's self and there is a chance of seeing dolphins and seals on the trip. It lasts 1h 30m and you are provided with waterproofs and life jacket.
  3. No problem Shawn, I'll update your reservation on page one
  4. No problem To be clear, we are only collecting deposits in FIRST (£130 for you ie £70 + £60) There will be a SECOND collection for upgrades you can purchase at a later date. So hopefully it will spread the costs a bit for you
  5. Hi mate, sorry I've edited it to try and make it clearer. The £40 upgrade is all you need to pay to upgrade to a Jedi hut for the 2 nights So you will be £130 in deposits and £230 total will be full price of your tickets. Just add fuel and part of your food and drink
  6. Applecross Update So guys we are closing in on 6 months to go for this years trip so it's time to update you all on the arrangements that have been made and ask for deposits to secure your space. Like last year, this is a ticketed event with a maximum of 15 cars going. +1's that have been estimated based on previous interest on the original list allowing us to cater for a maximum of 22 bodies. DEPOSIT: deadline 25th March Deposits are £70 for drivers and £60 for +1's and are available in the club shop. (LINK AVAILABLE SOON) They double as a deposit holding your place and a basic accommodation package. This includes a bed in a communal dorm at the Skyewalker hostel, ferry and breakfast rolls sat/sun morning and a BBQ on sat night. Everyone who is intending on coming needs to purchase this basic package/ deposit. ------------------------- TRIP UPGRADES: to be purchased at a later date Once options are released in the shop. You will be able to choose various further options from the club shop depending on your requirements. Accommodation upgrades are designed for couples. They can be reserved before they are made available by telling us on this thread what upgrade you want. 2x Jedi Huts- £40 total for the 2 nights (sleeps 2) 3x Twin room with en suite- £20 total for the 2 nights (sleeps 2) 22x Boat trip £30 (per person) Further information will be released soon with an itinerary for each day, as well as a separate trip FAQ thread. Page 1 post #4 updated.
  7. I also thought it was only the TRD. Remember you have the actual snorkel to clear that's attached to the engine too; which people that have retrofitted a scoop won't have
  8. I'm delighted Chris Harris was chosen. I recall calling for him on another thread a while ago amoungst a few others. So to those who can't stand the guy but watched his videos because of the production value, now you know how I felt watching Clarkston. Good luck to the new line up, I'm sure it will be better than before
  9. Lovely wheels I'm always entertained when people lift weds for the first time and say "oh- they are light"
  10. No problem Shawn, that is an option and we have booked the accommodation for you. You will be spending 2 nights in the Skyewalker hostel which is really cool. There are rooms we have arranged for couples at an extra cost (not much) but that will be explained soon That's a bummer Tony hopefully it's not too much longer to wait mate. What's for you won't go by you and all that.
  11. No probs Havard, keep an eye on the thread over the next few weeks
  12. Just the deposit price for now Scott. There will be a full price list and run down very soon as they have just had work done on them in the last 24 hours and are being finalised I'll get a full price breakdown and more information up soon.
  13. Deposit prices updated in post #119 £70 per head and £60 for guests. Deadline will be set in the middle of March.
  14. Just a heads up guys, we are probably Going to want to collect deposits for AC16 soon, like within the next month. Expect a figure of £70 per head and £60 for guests. Final pricing and planing is in progress so any questions you might have will be answered soon. I can reveal though that with a number of developments since the last update on the thread, Lewis and Harris will be put on the back burner and won't feature as part of this years trip. Good news is that means is the trip will be cheaper than planned. Hope everyone is looking forward to this years trip as much as the organisers are. If it's half as good as last years it will be a success.
  15. If you take the plastic cover off you can manually push the teeth further together for it to make better contact. It will go back to loose once you use the tilt lever again but it might let you live with it slightly better in the mean time
  16. Glad to hear it Craig! Roll on summer
  17. Craig, wait and see how you feel after the summers Applecross run, I predict you will make a strong bond with the supra afterwards
  18. That price is a bit out of date I think mate, as already said, they are just over £600 for 2 new fronts from Toyota. I got them a bit cheaper about 6 months ago but prices have went back up.
  19. Welcome. Nice supra Got a mate over there. Do you know Geoff, he works in accounting?
  20. What's involved in having them cut? Do they just copy your original? Can anywhere do that?
  21. Mine comes off my intake manifold if it helps you out any. Can't be more specific right now though.
  22. Looks like a good start mate My father in law is into his tropical fish and has had various levels of success with owning them. Basically different species live in different areas of the tank. Floor and middle etc. Also you should make sure that you don't have something too aggressive for the other fish cause it'll end up just killing everything. The pet shop should let you know what can go together etc. Small tip- he has 2 sea snails and they help clean the tank as the eat the alge
  23. All the best with the business mate. Hopefully someone will be able to take advantage of your skills
