  1. Anyone seen their shock do this before??
  2. Fair point, however if it was a club organised event (which we were enquiring about) then there would be more assurance that it would be the case (as we were told). If the OP is interested I could find the guy I spoke to's contact details to ask yourself
  3. Spoke to a knockhill rep a few weeks ago about noise limits and he said for cars above the limit they sometimes do this *puts fingers in ears*
  4. Didn't know what to expect when opening the thread but that's actually pretty impressive
  5. Nice new baby bus All the best with it. Looks good.

    New Top Gear

I thought the first half wasn't bad. Chris Evans is annoying though and I was reminded of that when he did his TGI reunion show. That's ok though because I found Richard Hammond equally annoying so it seems the top gear presenters have a habit of dividing opinions. Chris Harris was on the extra programme, "extra gear" and he was fine, you know what you get with him and he's comfortable with himself. The lead presenter that does the extra show with him though, dear god he was awkward. Can only hope they either pull the plug on him early or he settles down a bit and becomes less annoying. It's early days and was always going to be heavily criticised because of the circumstances. The point was made there that the original show took time for chemistry to grow so we will see if it's the same here.
  7. New cars have to be so pedestrian friendly now
  8. I've read that it's important to have a passport with an electronic chip in it. I think if you have that and do the normal ESTA form you'll be ok but check. Seen folk getting refused boarding for not having the passport with the chip- as they changed reecently it and nobody really knows.
  9. Cool, I see I see. One to keep in mind in 9 months then
  10. Thanks for sharing the excitement with us, look forward to the updates
  11. I've got a recaro monza. It's an isofix one but the connector arms retract and it'll fit into the rear bucket seats quite well. I use a micro fibre towel on the sharp 2 arm ends to protect the seats. Apparently the bumper type is safer than the 5 point harness and it also solves the issue of them opening the clip once they are a bit bigger (as there isn't one)
  12. I was thinking more auto pilot- either the steering wheel shrinks away like in the film demolition man, or you sit in the passenger seat and it drives you up the rd. Next step is to retrofit the system to older cars. Or phone a taxi, whatever
  13. Hopefully it's one step closer to your car driving you home from the pub. That's ultimately where I'm hoping this technology will trickle down to.
  14. Well hung! ... Done I mean.. Well done!
  15. No, we skipped friends and went straight to a bickering married couple lol
  16. Fantastic pic mate But if you refer to your Supra as your "Supe" once more I'm afraid we can no longer be friends
  17. Well done for taking it on the chin Can I ask just out of interest if the traction control was off? It's surprising how fast it whipped round. I'm sure there was a video a few years ago of another black supra spinning like that in the wet too. Almost the exact same crash except that time he hit a barrier or a wall iirc. I thought at the time that car couldn't have a limited slip diff fitted and that's maybe why it spun so violently, but I know that the UK spec will have had one so it just shows you how easy it can happen.
  18. Shame about the car, glad the driver is ok. Black UK Spec. Ouch!
