  3. Has anyone completely solved the peoblem with the Speed Limit Defense on the tiptronics, discussed a while back. i.e. can you WOT over 130 leptons. Week before last took the car back to JIC to have their new chip fitted. But despite high hopes, it still doesn't work!! Any help would be much appreciated. Cuth
  4. Alex and eyefi - Thanks for clearing that up. However it is a bit disappointing to hear that I'm never going to hit 200 in my J-Spec....boohoo!
  5. Well if the J-Spec is unmodified, how come the top end is above 160, the same as the UK Spec.
  6. With regards to the top end of a J-Spec. I've done 162 leptons in an unmodified auto.(except de-limiter) How come???? Incidentally, I was whipping the arse of an Audi TT and a Bimmer 328i at the time! Cuth

    Hi guys, Another newbie looking for some advise. I've recently picked up a 98 Jap TT Tip. It came with a number of BPU's that I know of... Blitz SUS LM Filter, Some type of BB exhaust, full system, I think.Cats ?. Dump Valve. Greddy Boost Protec B. UK spec Brakes. Other then that I don't know. I was planning to take it to TDI's for a quick once over to add anything that they thought was missing, in order to reach full BPU potential. I foolishly had the Blitz Turbo Gauge removed, so I am currently not using the booster. But prior to setting it I wanted to find out the safe max with the current set up. I live quite a way from TDI, in Brecon, South Wales. Question: 1) Does anyone know someone closer to my area who could advise what is or isn't needed. This would save two trips. 2) Carry out the necessary upgrades and set the boost level as competently as TDI, or even better. Saving any trips. Initially, I don't want to spend a lot on the up grades, but after reading postings on the various sites, I'm sure eventually, I'll end up going down the FMIC etc, etc..!! Also I have the Blitz Full Auto Turbo Timer, not the FATT (DC) version, but the slightly older one. Does anyone know where I can find the operating instuctions on it? Thanks for any assistance.
