The car is sitting there for almost 1.5 years, the owner was at my friend's hotel on vacation and goes back to the UK by plane. It has Bulgarian and Austrian road tax for 7 days for 2010 , how do you know that it's still taxed in UK?

Hi, I'm from Bulgaria and I need to find the car owner of an UK registered car, here is the story - the car is sitting for year and a half on the front of my friends property (beach resort in Sunny Beach) and blocks one of the parking spaces. It's an UK citizen's car that was coming for summer holiday here and go off by airplane... so the car is dumped here for almost 1.5 years. I have the number plates, model (Honda Legend) and pics, emailed them to DVLA but no one is contacting me back. Any other ideas how to find the car owner, the car needs to be removed and may be I'm interested to get it, because it will die for another year.... Thanks,

Check the SMART info, just to be sure that's not the HDD

Open it, find the bios battery and disconnect it for a couple of minutes, then put it back. Or may be it's the HDD, if you can boot to some OS check the SMART info (for Windows try SpeedFan or Everest).
