okay so I bought my car with these rims, and I took one off to check the exact size and I noticed that the bolt pattern is 5x100. is this rim 5x100 and 5x114.3 ? I don't understand becuase I thought only 5x114 fits Supra's. I had rims on order but they said they won't have them in stock for another month so I got a refund. now I've been doing some research on supra wheel weight and they are about 24.5 lbs front and 26.5 lbs rear. These are the for stock 17". the non-turbo Supra's has 16", I'm not sure how much those weighed. I have a 1993 non-turbo 5 speed btw. I wanted to buy stern st-8 rims, yes I know they aren't the best brand, but from what I know they are good quality for the money. I'm 18 years old so my budget can't go that far, so understand my choice the rims I was looking at are 18x8.5 (about 25/26 lbs) and 18x9.5 (about 28/29 lbs) so basically they will be about a couple pounds more on each corner. Is this something I should stress about or is it no big deal? I'm just using my car to rip around town and stuff like that, no tracking, I just don't want decreased performance or fuel consumption. thanks

Do you have $50,000 + to spend to make your Supra run a VVTi engine ? that's how much you will spend at the least if you buy a regular SZ non-turbo. The cost will add up very quickly especially since a shop will be building the car up (labour costs a lot). you do realize that you need to replace so much on the car.. transmission, clutch, brakes, wheels, and soo much more to be able to handle that power, not to mention mostly engine parts. just take a look at this for EXAMPLE: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=205973 £39,000.42, which is roughly $63,000 Canadian ONLY IN PARTS. This car was also originally a TT. why the heck do you need a VVTi engine in a NA Supra? the smartest thing is just buy a 1996 Twin Turbo 6-speed Supra and make it single turbo on the original 2JZ-GTE after a while, what more do you honestly need? do you even know how to drive manual? by the sounds of it, doesn't seem like it. you just gotta open your eyes a bit more and mature, but unless your really rich at 17 years old do what you want. and btw no one is going to find parts for you, you need to do that yourself obviously... the list will be very long..

my favorite color is blue (a darker blue, montery blue) 2nd favorite is white. mine is silver, which isn't bad either.

wait one more question, is that the same weight for the stock NON-TURBO 16" WHEELS? those weights given in those posts are for 17's.

yep especailly the R34 GT-R, that car puts up some impressive numbers (I've heard around 330-350bhp) ? that's good to know, When they become legal here in 2013 I might just get a regular R34 2.5L single turbo model for a daily driver since they are cheap last time I checked so many more options with the japanese cars compared to all the other borning cars.

he'll just read and learn as he won't be getting it for a while ^ I think...... that's impressive because they have downgraded engine parts and making same power as the US models. I just read on wiki that it makes 276 hp at 4,800rpm. So maybe if it's pushed to it's full potential it will end up with the 320hp. nice .

I personally know nothing about the UKDM since I've only read about USDM and JDM. quoted directly from wikipedia. 276 hp (206 kW; 280 PS) and 318 ft·lb (431 N·m) of torque for the Japanese version http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toyota_Supra they have different turbo, smaller injectors, etc... how are they 320hp stock? please explain. Japanese Supra's were limited to 280hp, just like many other sports cars in this generation.

thanks so much, finally got my answer. and this wheel weight is for all Supra's correct (tt and na) I can finally breath, the rims I got are around 23-27 lbs front and back, so I was pretty close. I didn't want any increase in unsprung weight.

sounds like your on ground zero bro, lol. go to wikipedia and read about it. non-turbo supra's are 220hp twin turbo at 280hp btw to build a stroker supra you'll need to spend about $50,000-$80,000 at the very least. You can't just throw an engine into a car with high amount of HP. You need to replace everything! It will add up very quickly. I've read some build threads of Supra's. I know a guy from Miami spend about $200,000 into his supra just go get it 1000hp single turbo and fully restored it with everything new and top notch...

I've been on car forums since I was 14, and to be 100% honest with you, young guys that know nothing or little about cars come on forums making threds saying they want to do this and that, but 3/4 years later they'll be gone and it never happended. You said last page a supra for 7k. Now how exactly will you get one for that much if it's a twin turbo? please don't tell me automatic. If your getting a supra, just buy a 6 speed twin turbo and go from there if you have the money

So you're looking to get a non-turbo? trust me you are getting WAY ahead of yourself (no offsene intended). I bought mine with my own moeny at 17 (1993 5spd NA) so I can relate. you have no idea how fast a stock TT 6-spd it. 280hp with 300+ lbs of torque is. I've driven R35, Lamborghini's, etc around the age of 17 and so on so this says a lot. If you even do a fuckin do a single turbo that's an automatic beast right away! what part of Canada are you from? and what will you be using a 3.4l 800hp + supra for exactly ?

Your getting way ahead of yourself dude... that's what most kids do when they join forums looking for advice. First things first, buy a Twin Turbo 6-speed with low mileage and in good condition. Since you're in Canada you'll be looking at about $16,000 - $19,000 considering it's a 1996. This is also considering if you get it from a broker and after taxes, dealers will charge you this much for some beat up POS. After you get the car then you can start planning on building the car up. Just read around this forum and other supra forums and just read and learn. p.s If your in Canada make sure the car needs to be at least 15 years old from the Production date.

what kind of rims are those? they look nice. and why selling the sup? it's un-replacable.

this is quite urgent, I'm driving down to the United States tomorrow with a friend and I'll be picking up another set of rims. I already made another thread about rims but I'm looking for some responces. Which rims? ADR M-sport or M-classic ? These will be my winter/off-season rims with all season tires since it rains a lot around here. Both rims are exactly the same just different look. which size will be best: front: 18x8.5 with +32 or +35 offset ? rear: 18x9.5 with +25 or +35 offset? (I am considering +25 for a more aggresive look, will it fit?). m-sport: m-classic: http://images.cardomain.com/member_images/9/web/357000-357999/357829_35_full.jpg both are identical in every way just different mesh look basically. I was also considering stern st7 (which look identical to these) it's just that they are heavier rims I think. let me know what you guys think and which fitment seems better. cheers

Ordered a set of those rims today, black with chrome, can't wait to get them on the car. I have another request, this question is coming from a friend of mine. 18x8.5 front with +20 offset 18x9.5 rear with +25 offset basically how will these rims fit? will the fronts be fine? what the back?
