  1. Aww mate, sorry to hear about yours too, looks much worse than mine i've only got front and rear damage all beit bad but the middle is immaculate. Were you injured? Hope you're ok. Did you recover the vehicle yourself or get it from the insurance company?? I'm debating whether to get mine back... It is only metal and paint at the end of the day but it was my metal and paint, feel sick everytime i think about it. Don't think i'll be getting another one if i'm honest just wouldn't be the same, hope your new project goes well though. Thanks for all the nice comments guys x
  2. Afraid it's a write off guys... You're right Mike, the front end is damaged by about a foot deep and the back end too although not as bad. Was over taking going up the hill at about 65 - 70mph, as i went over some water on the road i aqua planed, car span hitting the barrier twice (hence the front and back end both damaged) and i stopped in the same lane i was in but further up the road. Airbag didn't deploy and although i was told me braking made my impact worse, if i hadn't i would have ended up in the lane of oncoming traffic. Loads of people very kindly stopped to help me before the emergency services arrived, they shouldn't have got me out the car but it was dripping fuel so of course i got out and they pushed the car into the other lane as there was no hard shoulder. Very shaken with a few torn neck and shoulder muscles, painful knee injury, cuts and bruises, but nothing that won't repair. I'm a very very lucky girl in that respect. With regards to the car... Absolutely gutted!!
  3. Thanks guys. Well the Parker guide won't let you select non-turbo so no good there anyway. It's 1995. Was a little surprised by the high mileage comment as it is 15 years old, or is that high for Supra's, i don't know. Saying that, dad's 1600E is 42 years old and that's only done 28k! Def not selling, so although need a realistic value, the lower the better...
  4. Thanks, will have a look on the Parkers guide. Have a had a quick look on autotrader which gives a rough idea, but will have a proper search tomorrow.
  5. Sorry, would help if i put some info up. N reg, Emerald green SZ, imported into the UK in 2004, approx 85,000 miles, manual, no modifications. As far as i know the only problems with it is there's an area on the o/s rear panel and fifty pence sized area by the Toyota badge on the front that will need repraying, there's a small chip on the n/s of the windscreen (but that's getting seen to over the next week) and i think there's a bad connection with the CD player but it only happens every now and then. Can't think of anything else...
  6. Hey Wondered if anyone could help/advise me... My Supra was orginally bought by my dad and over the years it slowly became my car, however dad's name was still on the log book. Unfortunately my dad passed away last month and although my name is now on the log book, i need to get it valued as it's part of his estate. I'm not really too sure how to go about this as the valuation is not like an insurance valuation or what i think it's worth, it's what someone would be prepared to pay for it. Could anyone help or point me in the right direction?? Many thanks Jen
  7. If it was on Wednesday then i think that was me

    Hello

I do for the time being, although i'm thinking that'll have to change what with it being a fair old whack on the mileage and fuel costs!! Haven't seen many Supra's down there if i'm honest but that's where the nice person left the club's card on my windscreen...

    Hello

Hey I'm Jen and was completely unaware of this club until some nice person left a card on my windscreen, so here i am... Have to admit i'm not that technically minded or too up on the old jargon, but i'm a keen learner, just have to bare with me I have a metallic emerald green (no not a re-spray lol) SZ, non-turbo manual which we've had just over 5 years now. I have no desires to modify, however am keen to get involved and learn more about what i drive...
