  1. Hi, So got all the stuff sorted on our sc300 2jzgte swap. Single turbo injectors, cams etc etc. We are running a AP engineering power fc with harness to work on the no vvt 2jzgte engine. So with everything plugged in using the stock map sensor all is well but obviously limited to approx 1 bar of boost - while we need to get to about 1.6. Researching the way to go about it I opted to just get the apexi 3 bar map sensor and just in case the optional harness. I am very familiar with apexi and their D-Jetro versions but mostly on Nissans and Subarus which all are pretty simple to setup. With this motor I have never used a PFC before. Using Datalogit for adjustments of scale and offsets for map sensors. I cant get the car to start with just the apexi map sensor. Things I tried and results: (some things I tried just to try and cover all the options possible) 1. cutting the wires off the stock map sensor and connecting the apexi/denso in its place. Selecting the APEX option in map sensor selection area in the datalogit . Boost control kit option DESELECTED. - Car wont start. 2. cutting the wires off the stock map sensor and connecting the apexi/denso in its place. Selecting the APEX option in map sensor selection area in the datalogit . Boost control kit option ENABLED. - Car wont start. 3. Stock map sensor in place and Apex sensor connected to the boost control kit plug on the PFC. Normal Map sensor selected in datalogit with boost control DESELECTED. - Works fine. 4. Stock map sensor in place and Apex sensor connected to the boost control kit plug on the PFC. Normal Map sensor selected in datalogit with boost control SELECTED. - Doesnt Start. 5. Stock map sensor in place and Apex sensor connected to the boost control kit plug on the PFC. APEX Map sensor selected in datalogit with boost control DESELECTED. - Runs very rich. 6. Stock map sensor in place and Apex sensor connected to the boost control kit plug on the PFC. APEX Map sensor selected in datalogit with boost control SELECTED. - Doesnt start. Did I miss something? am I doing something wrong? Check apexi map sensor and it seems to be good but tomorrow bring in another unit of my personal s14 which I know is good for sure to check. Anyone with a a PFC and a non factory map sensor? Any help to allow me to get this car boosting to where it should be is highly appreciated. John
  2. Hi. If you got it i want it. Prefer it to have launch control enabled. Thanks.
  3. Yup. Your right. Was planning to use it on my arisyo 2jzvvti but plans changed. You got pm.
  4. Hi. I have a new emanage ultimate and a greddy T-17 adaptor harness also brand new. The harness is for a 97-02 jdm supra motor if that will work for you.
  5. Thanks a lot for that! Seems as though my swap will be relatively easy. Thanks.
  6. Hi, Would appreciate if someone with a jz80 that currently has their engine out of the car could measure the distance between the engine mounting holes on the front subframe. Doing a one off swap using a 2jz motor and this would greatly help. Thanks in advance. http://img576.imageshack.us/img576/5739/85124831.jpg

    Hello.

Hi, dont think I have anything from the gymkhana worth seeing, mostly I have vids from our club training. - Actually looked through whats available by doing a google search for my name as far as gymkhanas are concerned and its pretty weak and nothing recent. please don't judge based on those /vbb/images/smilies/bbcode_oops.gif Google search heres the link for my name and you will see a couple vids of me on the nurburgring with a 911 and one of me filming my friend in an RS4. fastest I have ever been clocked is 8:03 BTG on a regular c2 with a clear track - fastest video I have is 8:23 with a few interruptions along the way. They yellow carded me for half the day because I was filming Thanks. Single from the start but probably something small to begin with 450 - 500 After she is running, a/c works, gauge cluster etc etc , then engine will come out and built to hold 800hp and will run 650 daily. swap in v16x at this point in time. Yes, putting a 2jz in the nissan. it kind of defeats the whole keeping it light but i am moving and removing so much stuff from the front, the weight distribution and placement wont be hurt too bad and firewall modifications are going to be needed to move it back even more.

    Hello.

A Sheep in a wolfs skin (or however the saying goes). Wheels are something I got from local sponsor - Cheap Lenso Project D1R - 18X9 +32 front, 18X10 +22 rear. These were a test fit set that I liked and kept for daily driving. Thanks, Will probably go for the r154 for starters and then move to a v16x. why? well I will probably be transplanting another 2jz going into my dedicated try to "beat the competition" car (3rd place last year in gymkhana unlimited class because of a Bad diff ) and the S14 will benefit from the lighter gearbox as it wont need all that much power. http://www.driftclub-il.com/johnc/Images/Nissan/217-wmdc3.jpg

Been reading a lot and gathered a lot of good information - great forum! for initial startup will need a few parts so I will be posting them in the wanted section - all your help appreciated. hope to be posting on progress soon. This is the car btw. - Very dirty as there was some construction going on near my girl friends house and then it rained in the morning /vbb/images/smilies/bbcode_angry.gif http://img822.imageshack.us/img822/4317/dsc0071r.jpg http://img72.imageshack.us/img72/8722/dsc0326q.jpg http://img714.imageshack.us/img714/8815/dsc0177qh.jpg http://img197.imageshack.us/img197/9022/dsc0168hp.jpg
