Ok so these have been a pain in most peoples ass for a while now.... Toyota have officially discontinued them and also Denso who make them for Toyota have too. I kept back a large stock of the units anyway as im going to reproduce them soon. yes usually a new clip solves it.... ive had to double clip a few as the other part wears out.... this couldn't cause any boost issues though.... just the rattles as the clips not tight enough...

I’ve heard that quite a few times now… there’s a little clip that holds the rod in place in the diagram below…get someone to Rev it and have a close look… it wears down….

Ok so your best bet is to soldier a wire from the switch to that plug…. that will make the light go out… otherwise it’s buy another handbrake lever, unless someone has the switch on its own?

they are all for the auto box/selector... 6 speeds had these pre wired to them so just ignore. the handbrake has one single wire plug attached to it.... dig down and see if its attached.... send a pic of the light thats on... it might be the master warning light which could be anything from door open, brake fluid low etc etc thats the big on in the middle of the rev counter

Some things that can be boxed easily enough yes. But the bumpers are over 2 m long and quite fragile so I don’t really post them unfortunately
