  1. i find them expensive as someone on the board recently told me that they were 8 quid each. tha car is going in the body shop in 3-4 weeks so i need them before this time really
  2. hi guys i went to toyota the other day for some bonnet hinges and they told me that they were 20 quid each plus vat??? on top of that they will be 4 weeks on arrival?? anyone know of anywhere else? or anybody have any good contacts thanks keron

  6. hi, a friend of a friend is making up cross drilled/grooved disks for ppl, so i need to know what size disks i have to get a quote. i have a n/a import, k plate. does anyone know? (front and rear) thanks keron
  7. i have autometer phantom gauges water temp oil pressure and a air/fuel gauge. on the air/fuel gauge there is a purple wire which needs to attach to the oxygen sensor temp? where is this? also again with the water and oil...does anyone know where these fit in. ive done the basics...ground/illumination/positive....just stuck with the others now!! thanks keron
  8. im not sure what else its called but basically i need to connect it to the 'speedometer' to get a reading in mph/kph on the turbo timer.
  9. ok, i cant seem to find this as im putting in a greddy turbo timer. i need to locate the speedometer on the ecu? anyone know the number? ive looked at the list as shown here http://www.mkiv.com/manual/manualtt/terminals_of_ecm/index.html but still cant seem to find it?
  10. also i need to locate the 'speedometer signal wire' from the ECU. anyone know the number for this?
  11. ok i have a greddy tt. 3 wires red....12v green....on blue......acc but on the supras ignition harness i have st1 am1 acc ig1 on the bottom row and st2 am2 ig2 on the top row im guessing that i use the bottom row, but i dont know which wire to connect the 'on' wire to and the 12v. any ideas? thanks keron

    ok, my n/a on the clock only goes up to 120mph, so how can i get it to go further i.e....to 180?? can i just change the face? has anyone got one (black standard one)

  15. hi, does anyone know how the fan comes off as mine has broke! there is this spring thing on the end but i dont want to be a hero and pull anything off as it may make things worse. thanks keron
  16. hi chris, what do you mean by "If not the preload in the bushes will be additional to the spring rate and the car will sit high" i tightened the bolts etc first, then put the leg in last. so do i need to loosen the arms with the sus' leg on then tighten them?
  17. ok, basically just replaced lower suspension arm no1 and the long strut rod. i also took the suspension leg out too. put it all back together and the car seems to sit about 1 cm higher then the other side? does the suspension leg go on one way round only? answers on a post card! thanks

  20. hi, basically the rear wheel span out and hit a curb! now taken the rear wheel apart and i found that the strut rod is bent and on the lower suspension arm no. 1....there is a ball joint on it and it has snapped, so im left with half of the thred left in the hub (axel carrier) so how can i get this out? does it screw in or is it just pushed through? anyone?? heres a link so you can kind of see where im comming from (look at the pic next to no. 11. http://www.mkiv.com/manual/manualtt/rear_axle_hub_replacement/rah4.jpg

  22. i have a radio band expander fitted to the car, but when i got the car it had no head unit in it. now the expander has the usual black wire going in and out of it ( for the aerial) and it also has a pink wire?? the pink wire is what im not too sure about? where does this go to?? thanks keron
