  1. you cant see the caps form the outside....you have to take the wheel off then the cap will either be in the center of the wheel (in the back) or stuck on the center of the hub. Does anyone know what they are called?
  2. have you got 'spriggets' on them (well i think thats what they are called) common thing when you put aftermarket wheels on is that you need the plastic caps that go over the center of the hub as the center of the alloy wheel is usually bigger...basically this part make the wheels fit on 'snug' so that stops the shaking of the steering wheel. i hope this makes some sense! will try and get a pic of one!
  3. that sounds very expensive...i would expect all those parts for that price too! it's always best to ask for a quote first really (written quotation is best)
  4. yeh so he can pass them on to his 'friend' who came to see him....who was driving the car at the time of course.
  5. do you need to pay a monthly fee witht the S4? (subscription fee?)
  6. you dont have to take the front and rear windows out if you dont want to as there is a 'special' tape made by 3M which takes back the rubbers properly so the paint gets in all the gaps...saves taking them out and risk breaking the glass and ordering new rubbers! the tape is very sticky and has a hard bit at the end which wedges between the rubbers then you lift it over the window and stick it down....excellent stuff. it cost me £14 quid for the tape....
  7. Hi Evanshaw i have some brand new 19's for sale....please look in the f/s section.
  8. afaik you will be lucky to get a set of 6 which will have the same correct gapping! ive had greddy, hks, denso, ngk etc etc and they all were never correct! your best to just buy a set and get the gaps checked by a mechanic?
  9. yeh, changing the pads on a supra is the same as any other car ive ever came across....quite basic really so any mechanic should have no problems at all changing them....for £300 i would expect a set of uk brake calipers all round too..
  10. defo tring to pull your pants down mate....personally i would buy the pads from them and fit them myself....only a 10 minute job. Then once you know how to do them you will save loads.....
  11. personally, i would trial fit them (offer them up) and see where they may need shaving/cutting etc to fit spot on...i would then fit them on the car properly and then get them painted as they can be tricky to fit once painted and you would not want to have them painted again!....plus it would be easier to get a better colour match.
  12. yeh there is the same colour as the hks pulleys which is found on scooters....paggio's viola purple.....
  13. ivw seen some ford fiestas (98ish model) in a nice deep purple/black colour....would look the nuts on this car....look into it, its really nice.
  14. its to refill the air-con unit i believe....
  15. i was thinking the same thing as i think it would look the nuts for a show car...but someone told me that they wont allow you to drive it on the road! BUT i was on the motorway the other dayand i seen about 5 or 6 of those huge trucks that hold milk etc )the big roung things!) and the container was chrome or highly polished......so whats the difference then?
  16. sounds like a good price! i may have to use this guy one day...
  17. when i spoke to them just after santapod last year (the jap show) they were looking for about 25k then. they must have sold it on to someone else who thinks he can sell it for 35k!
  18. i heard that the part you are after is quite hard to get hold of? im sure there was one on ebay the other day in silver (one side only...not sure what side) other than that can you not get it repaired?
  19. it may sound daft but check the sparkplugs! also have you checked the accelarator cable as you can adjust it (with the revs/idle), also the cable may be no good? just a thought?
