  1. Thanks, I had the 6 spd propshaft and driveshafts and a cylinder head, and you?
  2. Then, when we came back from vacation last week, the Ford had to be put under the carport, where the supra stands, without it's suspension and wheels.... So put the supra back on it's wheels, I now had all the parts because I painted them before the vacation, clean out the garage , and put the supra in the garage. Now I have the whole winter to put the engine back together and in the supra, so I can finally drive a 6spd next year..
  3. It's been a while since my last update , but had a vacation and progress on the car was slow until now. Before we went on vacation I picked up some parts from JamieP, thanks for them!, and had a nice long weekend in south England. Also received more new oem parts from Rinus, thank's again, and painted some more parts. And, although offtopic, we bought a 'new' vacation car, a rwd ford transit from 1980 in ambulance trim, that had some consequences for the supra....
  4. great pic's, really need to finish my suup so I can ride along next year
  5. I have no idea howmuch shipping would be?, but when I replaced mine I bought them from a local internet car parts suplier for around 90 euro's each wheel, also much cheaper than toyota and 2 days delivery.
  6. The hubs are not that fragile, I pressed the bearings out with a 10 ton press, no problem. Getting the hubs of the car is the hardest part.
  7. Looks great!, what kind of paint did you use? I'm painting my ksports with 2k paint soon, but am unsure if it will withstand the heat.
  8. very nice parts you got for the engine, I think we need a benelux meeting next year
  9. I also wanted to have some work done on my driveshaft, (bearings) and I was told there are no spare parts for these shafts.
  10. That's very close to mine, 0010505, which also is J-spec tt auto

    Missing supra..

As in the reply's of members.. some of them are hilarious and you wonder how they come by them.. but it all goes nowhere if you know what I mean

    Missing supra..

    interesting thread this:p
  13. Yours is earlier than mine then, mine is 0010505.
  14. Then Toyota really made the big diff shaft 5 mm smaller, I measured 550 mm, thanks for clearing that up.
  15. The big diff prop is 2 cm smaller than the small diff prop, so I doubt it will fit
  16. Thanks, will compare them with my small diff ones on monday, since my driveshafts are at work. I measured mine from the abs ring, hence the remeasure.
  17. Wow, nice project, I am amazed that it fits, goodluck with this. If I may ask, where in the Netherlands do you live?
  18. Any chance you could please measure the shorter driveshaft as in this thread http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?267375-big-diff-driveshaft-measurements-please&highlight=driveshaft+big+diff? I am still curious if there really is a difference in the big diff and the small diff driveshaft, as the trsm says.
  19. ^^ Is that not a right hand and a left hand driveshaft?, as far as I know the left big diff driveshaft is 5 mm shorter than the small diff, as stated in the manual, there are members on here who have fitted the small diff driveshaft on the big diff. If you compare the width of the small diff with the large diff you will find that the bigg diff is also 5 mm wider. I did post this same question some time ago, since I'm also swapping for a big diff, and got no real answers, but after measuring everything up I'm confident there is still enough play for the 5mm longer driveshaft to fit without issues. But I would also like to know other people's ideas about this
  20. I believe the first two pics are amplifier for stock radio, 3rd pic is connector for cruise control
  21. Jos

    Conversion !

I thought the 7m was not that reliable?
  22. That must have been terrifying when it happened, hope you can fix it.
  23. I try to see the bright side of it, and am happy that I did not try to replace my valve stem seals with the head on the block, then maybe I would not have noticed this and have more damage later. What I find strange though is that it's only on the inlet side, visualy the outlet valves look fine.
  24. As above, if the wheel has seized it's not hard to change the bearing, I bought one for less than 10 pounds
