  1. Post up if you find anyone, I'd like to get my wife's mr2 sorted as the paintwork is a bit dull.
  2. Hi mate, do you have a picture of them on the car? I'm trying to visualise them.
  3. Using mine to mow the lawn...
  4. It's not a kit though. Also it's nitro, I was thinking of sticking with electric motors just because the last nitro I had was a pita to get started!
  5. I have up to £400 burning a hole in my pocket and want to buy a big r/c car or tank. I want to build it so it needs to be unassembled / kit. Looked at this - Tamiya Ford F350 High Lift Or this - scorcher Or maybe a tank but I cannot find any kits. Anyone have any suggestions / recommendations?
  6. Corbyn in particular operates by committee so you should be safe. See trident as an example.
  7. According to money supermarket you may have to inform the insurer that you are now 25 and want DOC activated. So you may get caught. Girlfriend... Make sure she says that you told her you were fully covered, she will be ok as long as she says she checked. I got done for similar years ago... A friend borrowed my car and got pulled. The cops asked me whether he stole it from me or I lent it to him. I said I lent it and got done for 6 points as well as he had no insurance. It wasn't till later I realised I could have said he told me he was insured! Good luck
  8. Do you have pictures of them on a car? What's the fitment like
  9. Stupid question and I could probably Google the answer but... What advantages does this offer? Is it useful with BPU? Can it replace a boost controller? I'm interested as I have a bpu auto but I don't like the boost controller I have, if this offered other advantages and could replace the controller then...
  10. Just tried toweb to see what it's like. Quicker and easier to use than WordPress and looks very flexible, quite impressed.
  11. I need a scooter to get me to the station, it needs to be 125 or bigger. Has anyone got anything thats not just a pile of parts in their garage? Cheers Neil
  12. Amazing build, it must be awesome to be able to build something as good this.
  13. The easiest is probably WordPress if you can find a map plugin which you probably can. Starting from scratch then JavaScript / react js is flavour of the month. If you want somebody else to do it have a look on upworks. Hth.
  14. I called Toyota today, they can still get them. £1500 is cost price, £1800 is rrp. Both dealers were apologetic and surprised at the cost!

    Europe

Why don't the Lib Dems say they will reverse the Brexit referendum if they get into power? In theory they would pick up 48% of the total vote and probably grab much of Scotland as well. At the very least they will get a lot more votes than they are going to get now!
  16. You should put an estimate together. Considering the number of these that are likely to need refurbishing it could be a good side business? Personally, I could stomach quite a high cost for a refurb if it was a proper job, purely because of the high cost of "new".
  17. My steering rack is leaking and i have been told i have these options... 1. Buy a new one from Toyota - £1800 2. Buy a secondhand one - but most (all) secondhand units will also leak 3. Refurbish it (£144) using Kiley Clinton or similar - No guarantee that the refurbish will fix the leak or not create other issues 4. Swap it for a manual rack? 5. Use a rack out of an SC300? - probably no better as they are the same age. I'm curious as to what others are doing as the options seem pretty restrictive.
  18. Anybody on here? We were traveling on bikes south bound but was impressed to see quite a few fast cars whilst I was there.
  19. Looking for a steering rack for 93 TT (in case they changed at any point?). Mine has sprung a leak and i'm not sure they can be reconditioned, therfore it must be OK with no leaks etc. Thanks Neil
  20. Check the boot rubbers (2 rubber blocks in boot), its quite common for them to get worn and that can cause a knock as the bootlid can bang. Cheaper than suspension anyway.
  21. Update: submitted the value as 10k base car plus 8k of mods. They came back and valued the car at 15k which I'm very happy with. Should probably have done this sooner, worth doing.
  22. Thanks for that, will cost everything up thats been spent and has a receipt and cost it up, will see what they say.
  23. Does no one have an opinion? I'm thinking of telling them its worth £10k. (I bet if i listed it in the 'for sale' forum someone would tell me it was badly priced within minutes!) - - - Updated - - - Does no one have an opinion? I'm thinking of telling them its worth £10k.
