  1. Yep. J35. To be fair it took over an hour to get to the m4 m25 jct. About 3 hours from there.
  2. Right, I have just made it down, it took 4.5 hours from London with 2 stops and the m25 on a Friday night. My afr gauge appears to have packed up an my cruise control is limited to 70 for some reason. Looking forward to tomorrow.
  3. Not having much experience of track days, is there anything I should be bringing along? Other than a helmet and a full tank of fuel I dont know what else i need or what will be available on site. Does anyone have any ideas?
  4. Are you still making these manual controllers? I could be interested depending what it entails, can you let me know. Cheers Neil
  5. I saw it at the ace Cafe as well, its very nice. I dont want to copy you (honest) but do you know what wheels they are, and what does the spoiler override do and are they hard to get hold of / fit?
  6. They came with the car in my case. However "kopite" said a while ago that they used to be his seats so i guess he had them trimmed and sold them on. Maybe he can give your more info?
  7. Not 100% these are stock seats but they were trimmed by somebody on here so i am sure it can be confirmed. The pics are in my garage now as well. Hope they help
  8. I just noticed your reply on the way out to change it's oil and thought I would check. So started to drain the oil an took a look. After shorting the diagnostic points I couldn't work out what the engine light looked like until I found a post with a picture and realised mine didn't work, so I thought I would check the bulb and solder joints. I don't have a good memory though so I thought I'd better fill the engine with oil before soldering the joints, otherwise I would refit the lights and start the engine to see if they worked with no oil in it. So I put 3.5l of oil and went to the shed, soldered the joints and came back to find the said oil all over the drive. I'd forgot the sump plug. Anyway to cut a long story short, I now have an engine warning light and can test for error codes. After counting to 88 I remembered something about a steady flash meaning there are no errors, so no, it has no errors. To be honest I don't think there's anything wrong with the car, it's just a bit old and sluggish when cold. I do have to say though, the information and people on this forum make owning a supra a pleasure.
  9. I had a galant v6 24 for a few years and always wanted the VR4 version, really looking forward to seeing how good they are around the track.
  10. I have paid and sent you a PM, so wil hopefully be there. I have also booked into the Premier Inn at Brigend (M4 Jnct 35) for the friday night, not sure whats there but they did have rooms left. Although because of the Golf theyre all getting booked up really quickly Looking forward to it
  11. Its sequential, its a standard setup except that the EGBV just isnt there. It does have an AVCR boost controller fitted so that may explain its removal. I'm having problems were the boost from the first turbo isnt smooth though, could the removal of this valve cause issues?
  12. I have found a cable thats sitting there doing nothing and am trying to find out what its supposed to plug into. looking at the third attachment on this thread http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=35925 it appears it should plug into the EGBV. However on my car (93 TT) there is no EGBV and the cable is just hanging loose in the engine bay. The layout of the engine bay is slightly different to my car but I dont see the valve anywhere. i might be being dumb but can anyone help?
  13. I can add my readings to this as well... Hks silent hi-power, TT First cat, second decat, 81db idle, 101db 4500 rpm. Double decat, 83db idle, 104db 4500 rpm
  14. The first turbo on my car seems to produce an unstable power delivery. I hadn't really noticed until it showed up on a RR graph, now it's on the back of my mind, i notice it and it is worrying me. The power seems to fluctuate up and down until the second turbo kicks in, then it's very strong and very smooth. Sometimes the power will cut altogether and then immediately come back in, no warning lights. Thought it might be fuel cut but it has a defender in place and the second turbo is fine. It's worse when the engine is cold. I've looked but cannot find any posts that relate directly, praying the turbo isn't kaput anyone have any ideas?
  15. I can make this and will reserve a place, will pay after the w/e though as I need to confirm whether there will be an extra driver or not.
  16. Maybe the other setting was actually correct, that sounds a bit too quiet. On ebay theres a company that will export one for $627 / £406. With VAT and shipping it shouldnt be much over £500 so may take a look at them, also waiting for quotes back from some UK suppliers as well.
  17. That helps a lot, thanks Steve. Now I have to start the search for a Tanabe Touring exhaust
  18. Weighting setting should be general noise rather than human hearing, it's the quieter of the settings anyway. Engine should be held at 4500 rpm. The meter should be held about 50 cm from the exhaust but at about 45 degrees angle above and to the side, kind of pointing diagonally down to it. It would be awesome if you could get a reading from it
  19. Mine has a cobra alarm which I suspect, but not certain, was fitted by jmimports, its about 3 years old and hasn't had issues. It's got a loud beep when arming disarming but other than that it just does its job.
  20. ah, I already have a boost control running at 1.2 so the nur spec should be fine for me as long as its quieter. How much do you want for it or do you want to swap it for an hks silent hi power?
  21. Why are you switching to the Whifbitz exhaust, is it quieter or louder than the Nur RX? or just better for some other reason?
  22. My car is failing track day noise regulations with a double decat and a hks silent hi power. It needs to be below 100 db. Do you have any db measurements for the tanabe? I am either going to have to put a cat back on or switch exhausts.
  23. Payment sent, thanks for the effort you are obviously putting into this. Cheers Neil
  24. Near great missenden, looked very original.
