  1. Am I losing the plot? I swear there were a load of photos on here a couple of days ago?
  2. Now that's impressive, if I give you a couple of names can you get their bank details? Thanks EDIT: For a while there I was very impressed in your hacking skills, then I realised how you found the details, I now just feel like an idiot!
  3. I have been after a "defi display" for a while and someone is selling one on the Mazda forum. I have tried to join but the mods on there don't seem to be around so I can't post yet If anyone is a member could they put a claim on the display? The link is below but I expect I will be too late now anyway:( http://www.mazdarotaryclub.com/forums/showthread.php?t=67304 Cheers.
  4. I'm curious, why does an mx5 make a good track day car, I wouldn't have thought it would be quick enough?
  5. He's probably living in a skip now. I dont think we will be hearing from him anytime soon. Maybe we should buy his missus some flowers and see if we can get them back together
  6. Doesnt the photographer have a web site? They normally just post the pics up on the web so you can buy them from there, just a thought
  7. Probably stupid questions but what diameter, width and offset are they, and are they likely to fit over large AP brake calipers?
  8. I think this car build is amazing, regardless of the cost. I also think that most people would say that they would buy a Gallardo and pocket the change, but then they would just be walking into a showroom with a cheque book, how dull is that. This car is, and probably always will be, totally unique in so much it is brand new, and not only that Inferno has had the pleasure of creating it and knowing it is something different. Personally, I'd be scared of driving it, I certainly wouldnt let the missus "ave a go".
  9. There's a track day at silverstone which costs £860, it's for 350bhp+ cars (no 4 seaters). I can't find out what you get for the money, what can they do for you that makes it cost that much?! Edit: it's sold out.
  10. Cannot get down to wales again so soon but will do another day soon. Jeckyl - what was the name of the kit car you liked the look of, you mentioned it in llandow but I can't remember the name.
  11. I do a lot of work with banks around the City and I really wouldnt enjoy working for them. One example : we recently provided a software solution for a department in one bank, before it was delivered they fired the whole IT department (many of them having been there for several years), a couple of months later they are trying to recruit again because nobody understands the systems they left behind:rolleyes: All the banks seem to be run by accountants where the balance sheet is everything, the staff mean absolutely nothing. But then again, the money is good:blink:
  12. I read somewhere recently that you never a leave a company, you leave the manager/s who you work for. I think thats where I am at the moment, I love the company and what we have achieved, but i cant stand the MD who runs it all anymore. If anyone wants a financial trading system building for them, give me a shout, I could do with the new challenge.
  13. Select the photo, then the cursor turns to a magnifying glass, click the photo again to get a big picture. Now click on the top right on "View all sizes", now on that screen you get a "download" button. Long winded, but it was the only way I could find
  14. http://www.lucyart.co.uk We got some where the picture is split into 3 seperate canvases, theyre very good and cheap, and you get to tell them the colour you want.
  15. I need "jimmenico" to save me, he took photos of everybody. Where/when do we find out about the official photos?
  16. You were going too fast, couldnt press the button fast enough.
  17. I havent edited the photos or filtered out any crap ones but heres a link to the ones I took. Did manage to get the Pug doing a spin! http://picasaweb.google.com/NeilPartington/LLandow2010?feat=directlink
  18. Its an AEM AFR gauge and a DEFI BF oil pressure gauge. The AFR gauge looks so unstable I think its sensor could easily be loose or faulty but cannot be certain. The oil temp gauge should be ok, the only difference recently is that I changed the oil to 10-50 racing oil in preparation for the track day.
  19. the oil is usually around 90, however on the track and the motorway its suddenly got a lot hotter. Not sure whether its normal or if the engine is running very lean.
  20. On the way to Llandow at the weekend my AFR guage started to behave strangely and struggles to show a reading, its normally off the scale (weak / lean) and never gets anywhere near the normal readings. Then on the circuit I noticed my gauges showing the oil temp as 120 degrees, then on the M4 on the way home it would creep up to 120 when I went over 80mph. Car is running fine and doesnt feel different in any way, if it wasnt for the gauges I wouldnt be bothered. But since they are there they have me worried. Is the AFR sensor just broke and oil temp normal, or could they be related and i have a sick engine?
  21. I'll take one if you start making them.
  22. Sounds about right for the area then, would be nice if I could ship the house to Scotland, get the work done and then bring it back again! We were also having a second bathroom created by taking a bit a from two rooms so it is all getting expensive, but the price is about right and it will keep the missus happy. Cheers for the replies.
  23. I have been quoted at the high end, (3k) of your quote but it feels a lot when it doesn't include tiling an decorating.
  24. Got a quote to have a bathroom ripped out and a new one installed, including a new window fitted. It's about 5x3m and will need a few pipes moved around as well as plastering. Not including the suite, taps, tiling, flooring or decorating how much should I expect to pay? Love to hear what a builder thinks as a ball park figure. I guess it would a few days work.
  25. Had a great day and was good to meet a few people, I think we were very lucky with the weather. Thanks to Nevin for organising it. Might need an oil cooler before the next one though, oil was at 120 most of the time.
