  1. The boost will simply be what it is, at a guess it will be standard at 0.7 but i'm no expert on how the boost controller works. Its hard to tell but I think the power dropped a little after i put the valve back on but not by much to be honest and I certainly dont miss it, I only really need the power when its WOT.
  2. Looked like a veilside kit on it, looked like you were waiting for something?
  3. I have a set of these, theyre great wheels, these would be very handy as spares but I am a bit skint at the moment so this will just have to be a free bump.
  4. Glad you got a supra again, when did you move down to bristol? Most people comment positively about my car but I am surprised by the number that don't know what it is, also most people think it must have cost 3x what it did and no one believes its 18 years old. Did have one lady say it was horrific and a couple of friends say its my silly car but they're not malicious. Have the wheels made to silver so its not white on white, otherwise its fine. Enjoy the car and watch for how many heads it turns in the street, not everyone will like it but they will all take a second look.
  5. What kind of mpg can you get out of this? EDIT: Sorry Ive just realised you are in Liverpool, it would be too far for me to travel anyway.
  6. A white Supra with "Dez" on the number plate, anyone from here?
  7. Was it tpft? For some reason when I use a compare website tpft is much more than fully comp regardless of the excess. I've no idea how insurance works these days.
  8. Not sure how its wired in, but my active spoiler and PAS are both in mph and work correctly, its just the cruise that got missed out. If you do find an easy solution then do let us know.
  9. I'm not sure what the spring rates are but I know the ARB is on the stiffest setting. Its a Whiteline ARB so stiffer than OEM already, so i will soften it and see what difference it makes. The car has its geometry set for slight understeer at the moment so if anything making it softer will just allow it to understeer more. Is the front normally set to be stiffer than the back?
  10. My car has Tein coil overs and is slightly lowered, it also has Whiteline roll bars front and rear. Not sure of the front roll bar but the rear is on its hardest setting. I have just been told that if I switch the roll bar to its softest setting, this will make the cars suspension much softer generally. Is that true? Which setting do people recommend using, it has 3? What effect does this have, if any, on the handling? If I soften the rear, I assume the front should be on the softest setting as well? I have searched for this but couldnt see anything which explained the different combinations, what effect they had, or what was recommended. Anyone?
  11. I'm not 100% certain but I'd say it is. I do know its tucked away in the very depths of the dashboard because I wanted to cut the wire so that the cruise worked above 70mph, but unless your stripping the whole dash or have fingers that are 12 inches long and as thin as a match, I couldnt see how you could do it.
  12. It sounds good, are there any pics or details anywhere?
  13. Any make will do but would like the fittings. Can anyone help me out?
  14. Round 4 already! How did you get on in the previous rounds and are you enjoying the racing? I did mean to spectate one of the rounds but the summer seems to be disappearing fast
  15. Nice one. Ordered it, should be installed on Friday. Have a sinking feeling that after avoiding paying for Sky and missing out for the last 4 years, Man Utd will now be crap and I'll have to endure watching them lose all year long.
  16. I'm about to order Sky so I can watch the premiership. Is the football on Sky Sports 1 or 2? Or do they spread it across both channels so you have to buy both? Also is it worth getting the 1Tb box for use with HD or does the free standard box suffice? Lastly, do you still have to have a telephone connection available whe they install it? Ta
  17. I'd say it would be very big and heavy, especially compared to a TZR. In fact if you have de-restricted the TZR then it will probably be as fast as the FJ. You need to try a few different bikes by doing test rides or borrowing them, the difference between the styles is huge.
  18. Hang on a minute. Mine is with Lynbrook but if I remember right it cost me £400, maybe its my points and accidents Is there any news on the club doing "Agreed Value" valuations?
  19. Dumb question, but how many rows is it? Or do you have a link to the actual one on the whifbitz website?
  20. Its now sold but I think the Insurance would be very high if its your first bike.
  21. The bridgestone playz pz1 tyres in mine have sloped tyre walls. They make a big difference since the new ones hit my arches which are now going to get rolled.
  22. You wont believe how long it takes to mow that garden with my flymo and 100m extension lead.
  23. No one interested in a cheap but very fast bike? It even qualifies for classic insurance and is actually going back up in value!
  24. I cannot help with the request but if you design a new version can you make it do the following... At low speed allow a manual override, but if you then go over a certain speed have it switch back to auto? That way I wouldn't forget it was down after a lengthy run. Cheers
