Last bump before I throw the grey headlining away
-
Bump before Ebay.
Open to offers as I need to get them out of the house!
-
Splitting the coilovers from the EDFC system.
The EDFC is now on Ebay - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/185928888677
The coilovers I am open to offers on.

Black leather/vinyl headlining, has 2 tiny rips but shouldnt be noticeable in place and could probably be fixed with a bit of glue. Keron sells these for £300 but there are none left in the UK. It makes a huge difference to the inside of the car, i was surprised how much nicer the black makes it. £200 collected.Passenger side visor in black, good condition, no issues. £50 + postage
Grey headlining, has had a square cut out of it just behind the courtesy light. Could be filled with a device (radar) or a glasses case. Otherwise good condition. Free collected.2 Grey sunvisors. Good condition. Could be retrimmed in black? £30 + postage for the pair.Based near High Wycombe HP15.

I have just posted some up if you are still looking?

These were removed from my car recently and work fine, I just wanted to go back to more OEM Bilsteins.
The EDFC system allows you to change the stiffness from inside the car, softest setting is pretty much OEM whilst the hardest is fairly firm.
I had the EDFC unit mounted in the headlining just in front of the courtesy lights but it can go anywhere, 4 motors and all wiring is there.
Only bad part is that there is some slight damage to the top mount on one of them, it must have been rubbing on something but I'm not sure what, it can be seen in the pictures.
Coilovers Sold.

Hi Tayr, Did you manage to find the visors at all?

if you haven't found by at the weekend i'll have a look. i think i have a set, one is not such great condition but cant remember if the better one is drivers or passenger
I'm really sorry about the tardy reply, I didnt see your message and then wrote a reply but didnt send it
If you could have a look at what you have I would really appreciate it, I havent seen these around much and Keron says he hasnt broken a car for 3 years and all the interiors he had got shipped off to the states!
My options at the moment are leave it in Grey but with a hole in the headlining, or use what I have and see if i can get the missing parts re-covered in black. It would save me a lot of effort if you had one lying around.
Thanks
Neil

Looking for a drivers side sun visor in leather / pvc whatever it is but would buy a complete set if necessary?
Alternatively, has anyone successfully re-covered / re-trimmed them at all?
-
It had a lot of admirers even though it was surrounded by some pretty amazing exotica.
Annoyingly I forgot to book a place in the car park had to park with the rest of the serfs.

I converted an old bike using a Bafang kit a couple of years back and its been great fun.
The only thing i would say if i was to do it again I would stick with a 500w motor rather than the 1000w I used (the power available drops with the battery level so you only get full power while the battery is full) . Also remember that the brakes, tyres and chainset will all have to be top notch to handle the power if you are doing anything serious.
Factory built bikes with 250w motors are great and work well, the 15mph limit only becomes annoying on the road.

Theres a Supra up for auction at Bonhams - Supra Auction
Its supposed to be original but what are those vents behind the front wheels, I do not recall ever seeing those before, anyone know if they were standard or what they are?
-
It turns out that the garage I used have lost their MOT tester and were taking it to another garage to get the actual test done. I wish i had taken the mileage before hand though because I'm fairly certain they went the long way around!

My car is in for an MOT this morning ata local garage. The missus popped to the local shops and saw my car driving along behind her!
Now I think the garage usually do a road test because they mentioned that they had never driven an MR2 before and how much they liked driving it (its the wifes).
But is this standard or unusual to be driving cars in for an MOT?

Fit over big brakes fine.
Looking for £800.
Collection from the High Wycombe area or I can post at cost using SendItNow.

Thanks.
I'll give them a go, go past that road all the time but didn't know they were there!
-
I dont the car but was wondering where you were getting your wheels refurbished and were they any good?
i have a set of split rims i'm thinking of getting done and I'm in the area.
-
I like gardena stuff, compatible with hozelock fittings but better quality.
I have a wall mount reel and it's been fine for last 3 years.
-
A noob question but do you know if there would be any issue fitting these within stock arches and over UK brakes?
Cheers
Neil

Toyota Supra GZ TT Auto, 1993.
JDM Import
Full service, see below.
MOT till June 25.
72519 miles but will go up
Located near Great Missenden.
Looking for £27,995.
Imported by JM Imports in 2007 and purchased by "Henk" from this forum. I purchased it in 2010 and have owned it since.
The car is in exceptional condition with only a few tiny marks to the paintwork, interior was retrimmed in two tone grey before I purchased it.
Everything works as it should and the car has been serviced by pretty much the same garage since I purchased it, any major updates such as suspension and brakes has seen the car go back to OEM wherever possible.
No internal work has ever been done on the engine but it does have BPU upgrades, it was measured at 413bhp on a dyno but since then the cats have been refitted and the turbos run at 1 bar to protect them.
It has never had any major issues and has never let me down in any way, a fantastic car that has been a joy to own, I'm selling because I promised myself many years ago that I would build a car myself and the time has come to try and do that, currently I am looking into doing a restomod on a MK1 Escort and this will fund it.
If you are looking for an excellent condition, well maintained garaged car, that has been looked after by a "mature" gentleman then this is it.
Main additions…
It has an upgraded side mount whifbitz intercooler and oil coolers fitted for both autobox and engine oil, however the engine oil cooler was disconnected because it was leaky at the adapter (just needs a decent fitting).
Defi digital display controller and boost gauge (I didn’t like lots of gauges but thought having the sensors was useful). (Control unit is hid in the glovebox)
Bad bits
Has a little smoke at startup if not started for a while, its been the same since I bought it and has never worsened, I have never replaced the valve seals because we didn’t want to break open an engine that’s never been apart.
Cruise control is in Km so it hits a max speed at around 60mph, its probably very simple to change but I never use it unless I am in roadworks at 50.
