  1. This is the problem I will have as I have 380mm front brakes and 20" with wide rears so I'm in s&@t street no matter what lol but is ok on the rear this is why I have fue different choices in the car hopefully will get me home if close or to a good garage If not very very last hope is the AA picking me up
  2. I do with nuts and a can of spray sealant oh and push through tyre strips over kill but I will get it home one way or another lol and it all fits in nicely and you never know anything about it until you had a look under there

  7. no worries bud hope it sorts it out for you with a easy fix we sometimes have to do this on the brand new cars that come in to us when tow bars/racks etc fitted but mostly ok you get the odd one that leaks from the factory OH THE FUN looking for them probs lol
  8. Oh also hard to see where the water mark would be any holes but is there a good seal to the loom from the rear light? Or is that taped up good so no water could run through the loom in side if split unlikely but never know water is a sneaky bugger sometimes
  9. If was me and as you have the trim and light out water test it with a hose pipe With the rear light that top gap is fine as it ment be like that but on the top bolt hole it is split is there still the little rubber under there? If not that's probably why been glued up as the water will run straight to that point to drain away. What about the boot rubber above the drain channel with two bolts are they both there? As that maybe the water mark half way up inner panel. And is there a good seal around ariel? Any water marks on there in the dust? I would dry it all out and get someone to spray water all around the whole area and you get in side and water watch Good luck bud
  10. It fits over the standard a post trim same as mine and good fit straight out the box glws don't see it being about long as don't see many for sale of late

Yes mate they can mine are blended in to the skirts too and had the doors off for full respray about 3 years ago and think I did mine by taking the front dirt gards out and go in from wheel arch It was some time ago so maybe wrong but it can be done with a little time and someone to hold the weight of the door will really help you out

  21. Mate as I said last night I'm gonna be doing this today and the write up sounds 100%. I have been looking into this for the last 3-4 days and not really getting any really true ideas with any 100% answers This really needs to be a sticky as like a couple of guys have said Many thanks for top efforts taken to write this up and there own time to help all of us all out
  22. I believe that they can use colour chips and/or a light tester thing that can work out what colours to use to match the paint I have seen them weigh out the colours then mix them all together to come as close as possible to the original colour to match the paintwork as it stands now
