Hi there I have had a word with my toyota dealer and for the 2jz-gte gearbox the part number for them nuts should be T90179-11017 x4 or however many your after and he said should be around the £2.13 each mark hope it sorts you out???

hi again I spent yesterday getting the car to run prop as it would not rev up over 2k but after re-setting the tps it now revs 100% but has a very little flatspot I can live with but she ticks over fine with no hunting serging etc On the dash I have the triangle centre of rev gauge on even with hand brake off or on brake fluid on full mark etc plus overdrive and trac control light flashing alternately Im begining to lose my love and patience with this now and with under a month till dragon ball!!!! I need this sorted ASAP please guys any help would be really really grately taken many thanks

I have used all vacuum hose's and couple reinforced pipes for heater pipes for heater matrix from auto silicone hoses ltd all looked good thick walled etc

yes mate the first butterfly is open and second is closed but when i up the revs on the cable it moves as it should and first butterfly dose not but still dont really fill much if any air being pulled in it still suckin through the cam breather??

tha rusty nut was first thing i had to hand and that pipe is where the boost gauage pipe was fixed to is that right??

nah even though she running bad she still quicker than a N/A

Just when thought things was going ok with the rebuild things now gone tits up!! :( I have removed the engine and box as one unit for full respray. I have then removed all vacuum pipes and redone them in silicone as was cracking one pipe at a time so did not mess any up!! now refitted engine all plumed back in and now turns over and fires up but die's more or less right away and can not fill air being sucked in through the intake?? BUT!! if I pull this pipe off it starts up and runs fine and ticks over fine about 1200rpm but if up the revs to about 2000-2500rpm it hunts up and down badly and still not sucking through air filter????? so all air in is going through this little pipe but if you push pipe back on the cam cover it die's??????????????????? Please give me some ideas what I done wrong as Im gonna get the right arse ache with it soon lol cheers guys

lol well i've got twin turbos so im good for about 1 million bhp and just under 634mph!!! lol 1) the add is crap!! 2) they prob been sold a turkey sorry (turbo) and now know they been done up as ONLY HAVE THE GREEN SLIP ON LOGBOOK!! 3) prob still in kph so thinks they going like stink when really there nan is just as fast!! 4) only bits I like are the trd spolier and gandor mirrors

same as kaan said I spent a good bit of time cutting and offering up cut a little more bond firbeglass etc and so on anything can be done more or less its just down to time and how much effort you put in good luck mate your be gald of the effort in the end!

Hi guys again lol Im gonna be fitting my titan crank pully in the morning I have a brand new belt a 6PK1940 but will I need a longer one for the new pully?? I swear someone on here said I did but im not sure cheers !!

as said mate belt is the same 2x tensionners with or without dampener and also water pump 2x na or tt water ports are different if remember right? I have done all 3 parts only as I dont think ever been changed on mine but would go for the tensioner as the bearings are known for going hope it helps

Mine is j-spec to I also have the old loom I just dug out the spares pile so will offer it up on saturday and have a real good look before I start taking anything apart thats why was asking all you guys on here! thank you for your help to

knowing me mate anything is pos lol well its giving me some hope that when I changed dash's over (as mine was crappy and screw holes) I removed my old loom and refitted into new dash so its gonna be in there its just playing silly buggers with me!

I really hope so mate as I really really need this and everything else sorted for the dragonball!!!

this is the bottom of fuse box and 99% sure I fitted all the plugs back in but just this one?? may have to unplug them and make sure when I poked loom back in it did not slip down the side or something stupid! cheers kaan you help me out the poo again lol

I'm in rebuild mode and slowly getting there but in d/s foot well there is a fuse box with 1 block that I can find no wiring or what should go in it!! looks like this cheers guys!

I think its something to do with the angle of the flange as it bolts up but not 100%

they are grate mate do have any as if under the manifold throtte body area? right off out the garage to see where i gone wrong lol

that would be grate mate! I have the hard pipes still so thats not to bad its mainly round back of engine and around the intake manifold but really just want check that I got them the right away around on the vsv's etc as been so long

Hi boys and girls I have been on a long build as most of us do and been so long im not sure 100 % where all the pipes go as its been striped so long for new head gasket, gaskets and full respray. I am after some pic's close up so can see where the pipes start and end (i did this at the start but computer died! so lost everything) or anything that gives me a good look where they go. I have looked on here but im not good at the search button lol so there is prob a thread all about it but just carn't see it cheers for your help guys!!!
