Have you tryed the key in the lock as normal but pulling the steering wheel about?? My old bmw did it all the time if you pulled the wheel round with out engine running it locks out but under tension all I ever did was got in put key in turn key slowly and move wheel left and right to pull the tension off the locking pin click she fired up no probs oh other thing if it's auto mine won't turn or start if it's not in park! Let us know how you get on

Hi guys I am thinking of parting with my genuine racing hart cxr,s with tyres. I know these are now DISCONTINUED! and HARD to grab hold of. So they are Front : 9x19 et46 with 4cm lip fitted with 255/35/19 continental sport contact 2 tyres with some inner edge ware but good tread Rear: 10x19 et 41 with 7cm lip fitted with 295/30/19 Michelin pilot sport N1 tyres good tread I also have the old bill of sale for £1,825.00 for wheels only!! and £695 for the tyres so grand total is £2.5K I know they are in good solid condition but the lips will need a good polish up due to age and was every day use on the supra (I have been told that these are split rims but im not so sure??) I'm no computer bod to put pics up on here as say it needs resizing? and wont upload If someone can pm me there email address I can send the pics over for some one with brains to put them up here would be grate Ideas on prices guys???

A body shop will sort that out with no probs mate. All that needs is a bit of heat and a big sucker and most of it will just pop out. Don't let it be disheartening time to just get it how you want it and start enjoying the supra how you should be

When I fitted car windscreens we used a thin square wire on T-handles and see-sawed it slowly through the glue keeping it wet to keep the heat down and trying not to snap the wire! Doing it like this on such a shape will be a right pain in the arse as the angle of the wire will all ways want to pull straight ie cutting into the boot lid and scratch it to death too not saying carn't be done but will stress you out!! and prob cut into the spoiler if gets to a hard spot. Sorry it's not gonna be a quick easy task if they really want it just swap boot lids as you say paints not a prob but damaging the spoiler and then losing the sale and your boot lid etc not a fun way to go

Yes mate just undo the bolts holding the carryer and pop disc off take a look in first post at pics It can be done with brake shoes still fitted just take time to guide the studs past the springs in and out make it easyier for your self so you don't push a stud out then you get it stuck
