Good job thats exactly what ive got then last got a 13.2 on 1.1bar and standard map,after the rebuild. Now im Running 1.4bar...a special 3in dp off LEE P and 3 straight through. Wont have syvecs in time but do have apexi piggyback so hopefully with that and the rest of the spec my cars got il see if the auto can bring it home!!

Evening All! My freind at work offered me an interesting challenge.. amongst other cars hes had built an early mitsibishi evo..originally a 2.0 non turbo 4x4 hes had a built block..an omec?? ecu..fuelling and a single turbo conversion(godspeed).hes had crank walk twice with replacements and despite the spec reckons its around 350bhp..stripped out with antilag..oh and the gearing is so close he struggles to get past 120...now he says he running 1.4bar but its good to 1.8...he says its pretty quick but nothing amazing :/ Im feeling against my BPU..im guna get spanked at the pod but a rolling race from 60, its a home run for the for the big girl!!.. Thoughts please

Ive driven one of these...and whilst theyre stunning and fairly rapid id say a well spec'd bpu would take it..would be close though

Hey guys..exactly which bits of the turbo pipework are different between the uk cars and jap ones? Im asking as ive found a company that do wider diameter turbo pipework and intakes for the stock/hybrid system..but on jap specs at present and so was wondering which bits are common on both models?? cheers Adz

il be going that route mate..ive got a fully built BPU+++ by lee p..next steps i reckon are definately ttc with syvecs..good reports all round with that setup..if you decide to go hybrids try CR Turbos or speed for sale's Gt28's...only because they seem to last at good power levels..where as normal hybruds or rebuild dont seem to last anywhere near as long as pair if stock tubbies..

umm..my srd built bpu++ ..with a syvecs..one of these boxes with a 3800 hi stall in ttc mode would be interesting

600bhp/500flb torque is roughly the stock boxes limit..even then its just a case of when.. A built box and uprated torque convertor wont just ensure reliablity but will also make the most of turbos...as built transmissions tend to be more responsive and shift quicker..hence why all the US TWINS and Big twins making fast times etc are more often than none on built and uprated auto boxes...2-3 coolers are a must for these those.
