  1. Mmmmmmm, Kelly LeBrock in a leotard......... BTW, the chin 'condition' is called Acromegaly or excessive bone growth. Bit like when I see Kelly LeBrock!
  2. Haha, I bet! Right up my street, this thread is! I agree that electromagnetic and other vibrational frequencies like infrasound can stimulate you to 'feel' things as that's how the brain fundamentally works (as a transmitter/receiver) but there are some experiences that are so intense and local that they are tangible energy and even heat as in hands on healing, Reiki (involving crystals, symbols etc.) or acupuncture. I've had the works, which explains the verbal Diarrhea from the Greek, διὰρροια meaning "a flowing through" which is what happens when you open up your Chakras, especially the Third Eye, which is concerned with perception and communication. I've seen this video of the girl before in a Dvd called Spiritworld by Chris Everard. The spookiest thing I've ever seen!
  3. I didn't even know about it myself until my Foreman at work told me that he'd seen it on telly. The details are on the back of every modern MOT certificate too! It can be quite revealing..........
  4. Sounds like my car! Stereo is probably wired in wrong. Mine comes on when the heater fan is turned on! I can also smell petrol very strongly around corners too! Not good! Best get a decent Fire Extinguisher I think!
  5. Just don't buy one from Sobeel Ahmed in Bradford, though they do make great curry at his favourite restaurant, Cafe Regal. By the way, nice car but there are loads of number plates ending in SUP available for £300 ish.............not that I'm 'Supra'stitious or anything...........much......but you could always swap your Kebab for Soup if you wanted to! One last thing and this goes for all owners of less than about 5 years, just to be aware of it's past/present condition, check the MOT history online @ http://www.motinfo.gov.uk and enter the reg. mark and either the MOT test number (top left of MOT certificate) or Document Reference Number from the V5C. You're lucky in that it can't be more than one year older than advertised, unlike mine which was five but it's a very long story! Good luck anyway!
  6. How much are we talking for an F-Con V and mapping for a '93 auto NA-T MKIV once the hardware is installed, as I may want to go this route in a couple of years? Obviously it's just a rough idea for planning purposes. Just looking at the AFR website........
  7. Well said, it could be badly coked up from running rich and knocking at high temps. All makes sense. Right, strip her down, let's have a look inside!
  8. So you took off the P1 Stainless Steel hose and it was ok? Good, sounds like the engine is running well now. Do look into that turbo cooling problem though, as you should be able to get away with 'spirited driving' without issues like oil leaks. The unusual heat and oil pressure probably softened the seals enough to let some escape from somewhere, that's all.
  9. Wooooooo! Back on topic atlast, but first, you reminded me to buy this
  10. Anyway, how's the car running now?
  11. Oh come on, it was a joke! Look, smiley face
  12. I think Dude was about to get his popcorn out. Blimey, I sound like one of you guys! Except smarter, I mean, obviously!
  13. There will be bears before ted time? Super!

That's ok, I'm used to paying silly money!
  15. Yours just did! What more do you want? BTW, do you have a relocated oil filter? Maybe one of the connections is slightly loose? Maybe even the filter if it's stock location? According to my oil pressure gauge it gets up to 80+ psi, which will surely find any weaknesses in the system. According to motinfo.gov.uk mine's had an oil leak for five years! I'll never buy another car without checking it first on there. Will rebuild it soon anyway. Maybe the oil on the road was someone else's and/or your performance issue was just from temporary overheating? Perhaps you had some serious timing retardation from knocking/detonation for a while. If the turbo was that hot, the cylinder head would be likely to cause knocking if not clean or prepared/coated to avoid it and the ECU will basically shut down the timing advance to protect the engine. Sure there's any coolant in the rad? Might also help to retard the exhaust timing slightly, (if adjustable), to lessen the unburnt fuel overheating the turbo and making it glow. Give it more of a chance to fully burn before the valve opens.

Ok, I'll email you David. I was searching for a clear top timing cover myself but never found one. There was one company I think I saw in someone's build specs. somewhere but forgot who they were. Anyone? Think it was a Japanesey sounding name. Could be a sideline one day if I can manage to make one, maybe vacformed 2mm Lexan. I bought a couple of VW Beetle RC Monster Truck shells off ebay from a bloke who makes them every now and then. He'll do it. Failing all that, I'll machine them from solid on my benchtop milling machine if I ever get round to converting it to CNC, then polish them up. Don't hold your breath though, eh!
  17. Hey I reckon you're both spot on, just an earlier version perhaps?

Unfortunately not that spooky, as I knew from reading your build specs. and reCOGnised them from their website!

Spooky! You just replied to my post before I sent it! Obviously from the previous post. Timing was freaky though! That guard is a bit 'unorthodox' isn't it? Looks great but really should have full enclosure, just incase, with Perspex or Lexan windows, (very thin and practically indestructible), as any contaminants will obviously wear the gears and belt and dust could/will get into the tensioner bearing etc.

Cool, I'll send you the racing belt first, incase the existing one breaks on the dyno from all that ultra-rapid gear shifting! Hehe!

Hi again Dave, I'll deffo be bending your ear about this setup one day, probably for one year! Won't be for a long while though so you'll have the HHO in by then as well. I'll send the timing belt soon; been busy lately with the garden wall.
