  1. Maybe chuck an OCZ Vertex 2 Solid State Drive in it as a boot drive? You could overclock that cpu to atleast 4GHz depending on motherboard spec's but if you want a cheap and easy speed increase without doing any harm, it's a doddle to get it to say, 3GHz. Probably won't even exceed a vcore of 1.2v. ;-)
  2. Hi, have you checked your insurance quotes? Best do that first although my insurer quoted me only £50 extra for a UK TT instead of my Jap NA auto. Pick either a JDM TT or UK spec TT and get some quotes. The forum has an insurance specialist somewhere here. Manual turbos are all on here I think. Must have done a group buy! Ask around. Read lots of threads and study the spec's for each model variation. It seems like you can never know too much about these cars. Maybe ask David2009 about his 'Suprastick' flappy paddle auto conversion. I notice he's keeping quiet about it though.......... ;-) Certainly the cheapest option when coupled with the stock silver £4500 JDM TT on Pistonheads.co.uk with FSH that I saw this week. Properly nice bloke too but in Devon and it's 4 hours from me near North London, let alone Humberside.
  3. Xspower manifold's are £178 in their eBay shop or website. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/93-98-TOYOTA-SUPRA-2JZGE-T4-Flange-Turbo-Manifold_W0QQitemZ290441322466QQcategoryZ38786QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp4340.m263QQ_trkparmsZalgo%3DDLSL%252BSIC%26its%3DI%26itu%3DUCI%252BIA%252BUA%252BFICS%252BUFI%252BDDSIC%26otn%3D8%26pmod%3D260670102988%252B260670102988%26po%3D%26ps%3D63%26clkid%3D5108434982150884426 They look good but aren't braced whereas ClubNA-T's are but are £500+ I think.
  4. I think it's a real bargain if you have the space for a spare engian; certainly worth ringing for thurther details of the veruas parts! We shouldn't jest as we're obviously dealing with a genuine dislegsick! I'll probably go stray to hell for that. I didn't mean to pike fun at him, I just couldn't hellpit!
  5. It's not too late to correct the spelling mistake though!
  6. Got to be worth the money but ffs, if anyone buys this, make sure he can spell his own address and postcode so you can find him! That is some ***ked up sh**!!!!!!!!!
  7. I'll throw it away for you if you like? If not the Supra NA-T, it would fit in my truck if I deleted the aircon........
  8. Oh, great! Anyone want a full set of Powerflex bushes?
  9. They're in this thread, on a red..... http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=229104
  10. Hi Paul, just to 'reinforce' what Annette said, there's no question whatever that even if it was their own detached house that's being knocked through, that a building inspector would have to be informed and sign it off for safety reasons. My Dad couldn't even get his 12v downlights in his bay window approved and had to remove them as an electrician hadn't fitted them and they won't sign other people's work off.
  11. Like this? http://www.boostlogic.com/xcart/product.php?productid=243&cat=27&page=1
  12. Chuffing 'eck! It might fit with a different T4 plate angle and position or just get a custom manifold made? Someone's bound to have made them I reckon.
  13. Very sensible, what with the weather and all... I found this thread and thought you guys might find it interesting; the one at the bottom about the 2JZ quality is new to me.... http://www.gtr.co.uk/forum/136499-stock-long-block-2jz-gte-1043-whp-808-tq-gt47-80-e85.html
  14. Jesus that's dangerous. Hope they're welded on. Also, blinging alloys kinda detract from the rusty look somewhat or is that an attempt to 'bring balance to the force' and pass an MOT?
  15. Thanks for that, what's your address and are you out for a few hours? Don't worry, I'll bring my own battery and leads!
  16. Brilliant! She must have been on Grannies Doing Doughnuts! _KB1UALlUlE kAVCcHFam7Q
  17. Yeah, sounds like a short to ground. High humidity and obviously water will leak the power somewhere eventually. I had my Optima red top in the Supra and it would run low after a few days of short trips to work and especially if left standing for a week. The alarm will drain it too, of course. From being almost unable to crank the engine, it charged right up after a 10 mile drive and the charger said it was full within a few seconds of connecting it. Perhaps these batteries are best for regular long journeys, despite the deep cycling claims? I'd say that your alarm is the culprit. Have you got a microwave proximity sensor? My Sigma S30 has one and I reckon it must drain it a fair amount.
  18. Let's make a video called 'Two Supra Owners, One Sledgehammer'.
  19. How about smashing them up with a sledgehammer? That should 'Rat' them nicely!
  20. OMG! They aren't actually serious are they? Must be the drugs.....although whoever styled my Supra must have been on acid Great pics btw. Seen the V8 for sale in a MKIII? That belongs in a Rat Rod
