  1. Just get this: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/16ft-TRADITIONAL-MONGOLIAN-GER-YURT-TENT-5m-diameter-/370408761544?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_SportsLeisure_HikingCamping_Tents_JN&hash=item563e1528c8 At least you'll always be able to find it
  2. Nooo, don't do it! I tried a similar pop-up tent at a festival a few years ago, might as well have used twigs & a bin bag - any hint of rain and the thing filled up with water (no inner lining - stupid), barely big enough for two people and it was knackered after a few nights
  3. I have nothing valuable or intelligent to add but I've just gotta say OMG CUTE.

    Geocaching

Yes I've heard of this! Only really from Americans though, I assumed it was just a US thing. I love the idea, I'm gonna have to give it a try now.
  5. There's a good place called Evil From The Needle, in Camden I think - my friend has some amazing black & grey tattoos from there.
  6. Ah looks like I'm going to Glasgow this weekend now, hope to get down to August's meet though.
  7. I think I might be coming down to this one!

    Hello :)

Hi Amy Nice to see another girl round here! I'm in a similar position to you, 20yo in a little Peugeot hatchback, will be interested to find out what you decide on. and welcome
  9. I actually heard of a story from a vet friend of mine.. some one had brought a rottweiler puppy for £1k, brought it to the vets a month later as he was concerned it wasn't growing... ... it was a guinea pig. True story. Yeah that's a shit story mate, I sure you know now to do a bit of research though...
  10. This could either be fear or dominence - it's hard to tell which. I would recommend speaking to a vet or behaviourist. One thing is to make sure you are always present when she's eating, be in the room so it reinforces the ideas above that you have possesion of the food and are giving it to her. Preparing the food on front of her is a good idea as mentioned, as is making her work for the food as people suggested. You could also try putting extra tasty food in her bowl while she's eating so she can see she has nothing to fear about you being close to her food - sometimes taking the food away can make them even more possessive if this is more about fear than dominence. These worked on my dog when she was a pup. Take care though, every dog is different as I'm sure you know.

    Hi,Few questions

Who was this with?? I'm not interegating you, just curious - my dad's insurance company refused to have me as a named driver on his stock Honda S2000, that's with 3 years NCB and I'm a girl! And only this year would they insure me on his '93 Merc E320 as well.
  13. Tbourner: beautiful dog you've got there! I totally agree about it being all down to the owners. My two are staffie crosses themselves. If the owner isn't firm with them they do have a tendency to take the piss a bit and get a bit dominant. The worst is when you get the owners who encourage it, they're naturally people loving dogs and tend to do anything to please their owners - combine it with their strength and determination and I can see why some get into trouble. They're generally wonderful dogs though, they don't deserve their reputation at all. Great with kids, so tolerant. So sorry about what happened to yours
  14. Dubrovnik in Croatia is supposed to be lovely and the kind of place you're looking for. Never been there myself though. Loved Barcelona when I was there, there's something for everyone and it's really lively. Whoever said Marakesh, I want to go there so much, maybe next year i'm thinking.
