  1. For that money I'd want the blonde in the last couple of photos to come with it Nice car, but not my cuppa tea.
  2. I know what you mean about the gauges, they're almost as bad as what my car was like when I bought it. And spraying it black is def an idea.
  3. As above really, anyone seen it in the flesh? Looks awesome! http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2528283.htm
  4. Bought mine as a daily driver, but with fuel up here costing 142 a litre I bought a pug 306 diesel for £100 off a mate to ease the burden. When I get my license back (27 days and counting ) she'll be a weekend and evening car.
  5. Cheers mate. At last a clear picture as to where to put the damn things
  6. I have to be honest, I aint that experienced with anything turbo. Is this where it should be (see attached)
  7. Right first off, sorry about this thread, as I'm sure this has been covered literally hundreds of times. But I have found so many different ideas on where to stick these damn things I thought it best to check. I got this MBC off of ebay the other day, and as far as I can make out it's a ball and spring relieving type mbc. I've plumbed it in from the wastegate vsv to the actuator, as this seemed to be the most sensible of all the other ideas I'd found. I cant take the car out for a spin myself to test it as its on a sorn at the mo, and I'm currently a month off getting my license back but I did get the old man to take it for a quick spin in the village and all seems well. Just needs adjusting to give me 1.0 bar. If this is right then hopefully others can use the pic I've posted to get an idea for themselves.
  8. 14thh of March is when mine comes out to play again. Thats when I get my license back Cant wait! It's been a hellish 2 months getting lifts in boring ass cars!
  9. The kick you get when that second turbo kicks in. Makes me grin from ear to ear every time!
  10. How'd you manage that mate? Kinda glad you never bought mine now
  11. As I understand it, j-specs should be run on 98+ as thats what they use in Japan. And if they're bpu'd you run the risk of damaging the engine by using 95.
  12. Really nice that one. Welcome to the club I found that when I got into a manual after driving the supra I wouldnt press the clutch at junctions. Kangaroo petrol all the way!
  13. As above, bought it off of ebay a while ago. I was going to fit it to my tt import, but as I can only get 95 ron out here I decided against it. Plus there aren't many people that are supra savvy out here to fit it for me. It was apparently fitted to a Supra before, so they do fit. Paid £100 plus delivery for it, so looking for about that, I'll take offers though.
  14. Cheers but you dont know the best bit yet. It was the day I bought the car :L
  15. 106 in a 60. I think I got off quite lightly seeing as the original charge was dangerous driving, lawyer got it down to just speeding
  16. Well I'm a Sky customer, and have to say I'm very happy with the service and price for my TT import. I'm 25, 7 years experience and 6 years no claims, live in the back of beyond, garaged, class 1 alarm/immobiliser. Generally low risk, so I pay £770 a year. Unfortunately I am currently serving a 3 month ban for speeding, so I dont think it's going to be that cheap when I renew in June. Any idea how much it should go up by?
  17. Cheers for confirming what I thought. I'll be spraying it myself, so there'll be no wet flatting going on this time! Thanks to everyone else for adding their two cents.

  19. It was done by the previous owner, and it's only on the bodykit, all the metal panels are still ok. I'll get a pic up tomorrow.
  20. Hey guys, I had my supra in the garage the other day to let it dry out and give it a check up and a clean, and after the second night of it being in there the paint on the bodykit suddenly had hundreds of little bubbles on it. The best way of describing it is someone has written a book in brail all over my car! I can only assume the temperature change from being outside has done something to the fibreglass the kit is made of (trapped air or water expanding?). Anyone know what could have caused it, or more importantly, how to prevent it happening again when I repaint it?! Any comments would be helpful.
