  1. I've double checked and I think its a rear hub. It looks like it has the hole where the driveshaft would go : ( Sorry I can't help Andy
  2. I have a friend who has just started up a workshop in Strood, Kent. He has specialized in maintaining most jap high performance cars, including Supras obviously. He does specialise in the Nissan sports cars, but compared to 300ZX's and GTR's, Supras are a doddle to work on He recently started up his own workshop, which is based in Strood, Kent (15 mins from M25, junction 2). I can't sing his praises highly enough. Engine work, upgrades, electrics. You name it, he's the man. At the moment he hasn't got a back log of work because he's only just started the new workshop, so nows the time to give him a shout. His name is Darren Higbee. The phone number is 01634 296967 The address is 151-157 High Street, Strood, Kent. ME2 4TH. Thanks Andy
  3. I think I have one if you have no luck elsewhere. Would be £50. Needs to be collected though Thanks Andy
  4. I have one side from a low milage mkiv na. Has some suspension bits still attached. Its £45 if you're interested Thanks Andy
  5. Well if anyone wants a HKS induction kit for an import TT then you can have my one for £60. Filter has done 2000 miles. I guessed it was something to do with the AFM Thanks for your help anyway Andy
  6. I have just bought a second hand HKS induction kit (with the green filter). I can't work out how to fit it. It doesn't look like it fits properly. Is there more than one type for the TT mkiv supra ? I have a 94 UK TT auto. Do all mkiv's have AFM's ? If anyone has a photo or a link to a photo of an engine bay with this induction kit in it then that would be great Thanks Andy
  7. I'm looking to buy some locking wheel nuts. I've noticed that some locking wheel nuts claim to fit "All Toyotas". So I am assuming that all Toyotas have the same thread size ????? Thanks Andy
  8. Thanks for the info Anyone have a picture showing where it would be installed ??? Thanks Andy
  9. Can I just get any of them off ebay, or is there a certain type or "size" I need to get.?? Thanks Andy
  10. I have an absolutely standard UK TT. I want just a "bit" more power and have been told a bleed valve is the easiest (and cheapest) way to do it. Can anyone recommend a supplier ?? Also, any advice appreciated. Thanks Andy
  11. I had exactly the same problem last week. Tried everything, but nothing worked UNTIL I left the battery disconnected for a few minutes rather than a few seconds. Then I put the key in and out of the ignition a few times, then pressed the alarm button and then everything went back to normal. Basically if you keep playing around with it I think eventually it will kick back into life. Also, apparently if you hold down the two buttons on the alarm keyfob for 10 seconds it re-synchronizes itself to the alarm. If all else fails you can send the alarm box and key back to Scorpion where they will reprogram it. Costs about £30. Thanks Andy
  12. I finally got my Supra running again today, although I'm not sure how. I put a new battery in the key fob. Still nothing. Disconnected earth leads for a minute connected it up again still nothing. Turned key in ingnition twice, then the keyfob started working again and bobs your uncle. Thanks to everyone who helped. After reading loads of info on the alarm and talking to people on here I think everyone should make a special note not to let their battery ever go flat (if you have the standard UK alarm). thanks Andy
  13. Whats a "dome" fuse ?? Thanks Andy
  14. I have an L reg UK Supra. I havn't driven it for a few weeks and the battery went flat. I charged battery up, but the alarm LED on the dash stays on and my remote key fob buttons don't work anymore. I've read info on how to synchronize the fob to the ecu, but then it gets even more interesting. The unit behind the passenger headlight appears to have been already disconnected. The electrical plug has been unplugged. I can only assume its been like that since I bought the car a few months ago. If I plug it back in the siren in that unit starts to go off. But theres another siren (much quieter) that also goes off around the cabin area. So the alarm immobilizer has been working perfectly OK up until now, even with the connector (near the castle key) disconnected.???????? So now I'm really confused. Even if you can't help me sort out the problem, could you at least shed some light on whats going on ?? Thanks in advance Andy
  15. AndyZ
