  1. Hello again, I don't need it now mate but looks like you already have a buyer for it It's all yours
  2. Forte Gas Treatment- This is the only one that i found actually works, It's helped me get my cars through MOT when they've failed on the emissions test.
  3. So you want to sell? I don't really want to spend money on a spare set as i don't need replacements, I was just really interested in a loan where i could "return the favour" to someone for letting me borrow theirs. My lights are still fully functional but i'm just trying to get them "tarted up" and looking nice. Thanks though, I'll keep you in mind Morpheus if i decide to buy another set.
  4. As above, You send me a pair of headlights which i use whilst mine are being refurbed, after mine are done and fitted, i refurb yours and send them back. I plan on spraying the inside bodycolour (6NO gunmetal grey) and chrome paint on the rings. If you have a spare pair of ropey looking lights, what have you got to lose? (besides postage) Iky.
  5. Im unsure as to what a single headlight is worth, £40??
  6. Hi, following on from my last thread. The Supra has developed quite a bad coolant leak from around the thermostat housing area. Just filling the rad causes it to dribble out pretty quickly. I have a new thermostat ready. Is this a common place for leaks? Is there any other leak prone areas around here that i should look at? From what i can tell it seems a bit of a fiddly job to change it with all the gubbins in the way, does anyone have any tips? Thanks in advance, Iky.
  7. These bulbs were pretty much a straight fit on my 96 jap-spec. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=330425821427#ht_2557wt_982
  8. Maybe i spoke to soon, I was driving today and parked up and heard a water noise behind the dash, having read other threads on here i shit my pants thinking oh bollox, that sounds like the matrix has shat itself. I couldn't feel any wetness around passenger floor area. So I went outside and saw coolant under the front of the car. I need to take the undertray off yet to see but what are the "weak links in the cooling system towards the front of the engine? Expansion bottle seems fine and doesn't leak.
  9. Nice idea that A coolant flush is on my list of things to do. HOw much does one of those valves cost and do you have a part no?
  10. So if i take it off, will it piss out coolant everywhere? Cheers.
  11. Out of curiosity i had to search for that one. The israeli version has some nice girls. ySK82z_MJOU
  12. Hi, What are these pipes for? there are two together. The part where the rubber hose ends and goes onto a solid copper looking pipe, one of mine as you can maybe see in the photo has quite a bit of corrosion on it. Although it isn't leaking, it does look a rather manky green colour. Is it easy to replace? What fluid will leak out if any? are stainless ones available? Thanks in advance, Iky.
  13. Hi Lee, welcome mate. Nice job on those wheels, not bad at all.
  14. Sorry, completely forgot about this.
  15. Nice one Jurgen, the part number sticker was slightly damaged on mine so i couldn't read the last few digits.
  16. Ok, I have the parts. I will be getting them fitted end of this month hopefully. Can anyone tell me if the mounts are handed (L&R) ? I know the brackets are different.
  17. Bump, I haven't heard back from Rob so i still need this. Cheers, Iky.
  18. Cheers Chris, I will try that. Although the second time i flushed it, it all seemed to be flowing out of the disconnected return hose without air bubbles.
  19. [sAD][/sAD]After inspecting the PAS fluid and deciding it was more brown than red, I decided to go about doing a fluid change. I read the guide on here and it seemed simple enough. I got everything ready- rags under the PAS pot to soak up spillages, cut bottle securley taped to pot and filled with new fluid, all pipes where they should be with the end of the return in a container. This is where I messed up, I fired up the engine and saw fluid go down way faster than i expected it to so i did a bunny hop to the front of the car to quickly put more fluid in it. I slipped on an oily patch on the floor and knocked the already 3/4 empty bottle over with my hand when i tried to steady myself. All the fluid went in the engine bay and onto the floor, passenger side wing and my face. By the time i got back up on my feet the pump was running dry and making a scary noise. I quickly ran to the driver side (carefully this time) and switched off the car. After biteing my fingernails nervously for a few minutes whilst looking at it, i thought I should clean up all the mess ive made. I put all the pipes back on and put some more fluid in. i thought id do it the manual way this time by turning the steering side to side. It was very noisy and i could feel grinding noises and vibrations through the steering wheel, I thought this can't be good and decided that in the morning i'd try to bleed it again using the original method. This time i managed to do it without any dramas and used a bigger bottle. BUT now, the steering feels good but there is still a little squeeking noise like a non oiled bearing which changes speed with revs So my question is have i fooked it?
  20. Thanks bud. Ive already cleaned the idle valve. I havn't drove it yet though. Could a blocked PAS pot filter cause strain on the engine? My revs seems to go low when just rocking the steering side to side. Ive cleaned out the pot but will be getting some more fluid tonight.
