  1. Yo! Marky, P&P is going to be around £15 so please make your offer with that in mind
  2. Saw you this morning around 9.30 whilst i was waiting for the bus. I gave you a little wave as you drove past.
  3. Still here, I'm open to offers on these.
  4. Very nice that Kam, looks beautiful, Would love a shiny black Supra. Where abouts in S.Yorkshire are you?
  5. Couple of M6 bolts around 15-20mm long and lots of No12 (around 6mm) self tappers by around 20mm(3/4") long They don't have to be the exact length as long as they don't foul anything behind. Get loads of stainless ones with washers.
  6. Saw you this afternoon around 5pm. Reg was possibly L952JFG Only got a quick glance at the rear Looked stock bodied.
  7. Hi, nice Soarer, welcome to the club. In my opinion car colour will look better.

Hi Foxy, Welcome. Good to see another local member joining.
  9. Clean any rust back to bare metal 1) Apply Bilt Hamber Electrox primer 2) Replace any knackered seam sealer in the seams 3) Apply 3M Stone chip 4) Use Bilt Hamber Dynax S50 cavity protection in box sections, chassis rails etc. Bilt Hamber stuff works, Ive used their Deox gel rust remover and its bloody fantastic. Waxoil is useless compared to this dynax stuff. Edit - the Dinitrol stuff is supposed to be pretty good as well, depends what you can get hold of i suppose.
  10. Cheers Nic. Ive been offered a few racks via pm. Besides leaking, is there any other checks that I can do before buying? To make sure I get a decent one. As Ive discovered that low mileage doesn't always mean its good.
  11. So It looks like new rack time The car has only done 55k I will probably get another rack for the time being and refurb mine when I can. Don't mind hard work, It's money i'm short of. You can't say that and not prove it! Oh, I call Hovis if you do post photos. (Ive been dying to say that)
  12. Hi, I had a look at the steering rack gaitors and removed them to check for leaks. Driver side - A thick grey liquid started dribbling out. Passenger side - A thin runny yellow liquid leaked out Question - The driver side has the track with the 'teeth', could it be that the fluid leaking pass the seals has mixed with this ? As for the yellow, maybe aged fluid which ahas gone pale? Are these gaitors ment to be completely dry inside or are they like cv joints which have to have grease inside? Iky.
  13. I get a slight howling at high speed but assumed it was from wind flowing through the rear vents. Are you sure its not that?
  14. Haha I've been on here long enough to know what Bilsteins are
  15. Sorry to get everyone excited unnecessarily, They are the BLACK ones. Although, I can paint them yellow for you at no cost
  16. Jap spec shocks(front & rear) from my 1996 facelift TT. Black ones NOT BILSTEINS. All seem to be in good nick, shafts go down and come back up without any issues or noises. Just bare shocks no springs or top mount bushes. I don't know what there worth so lets say £80 ono posted to anywhere in the U.K. Cheers, Iky.

  20. Just ordered mine. I struggle to get more than 280miles to a full tank with "careful" driving.
  21. Pretty sure they are just normal M6 with a 10mm head. Get loads of longish stainless ones and just cut the lenght to suit. Im gonna go around the engine bay and replace what I can see.
