    Bumpy ride

Bilstein dampers with custom valving and custom springs. Setup exactly how you want it. Its probably the best setup you'll get but comes at a price of around £1200. From people who have had it done it's worth every penny.
  2. Ha ha, that's funny! Sorry to laugh at your misfortune but I couldn't help myself. Sound to me you have the best idea using the hoover. If that fails then a rod or something with loads of tape wrapped around it with the sticky side exposed ( i used this method to remove a stray bulb from my indicator)
  3. I eventually managed to sell a working fully loaded manual 2.0 one of these for a little over £200 Truly awesome cars but they can be picked up for peanuts these days. Not meaning to sound tw@tish btw bud but you're probably better of scrapping it as already mentioned.
  4. Yes they are. I changed to pre-facelift ones when I fitted TRD mounts.
  5. Photos. Please not the small amount of surface rust wipes off the front pulley. I think it got wee'd on by a small mouse that lives in the garage.

    Ride quality

I appreciate your input Homer. I thought Chris's setup was custom? I can only assume the uk ones were knackered. They made a swish sound when going over speed humps which I thought was normal but now I'm starting to think otherwise.
  7. No worries dude, Its probably not essentiall anyway. Thankyou:thumbs:, Iky.
  8. No, i don't think it does mate. I know it clips onto the ball on the long bolt that sticks out the black part
  9. I could do with 6 of the metal clips and just 1 of the plastic one.
  10. Some photos of the bits I need, Metal clips. Plastic clip on back of reflector. Cheers.

    Ride quality

Hi bud, acutally tried letting the tyres but not the cushion Ive got hold of some cheap headlamps that needed work, currently in progress. Ive still not had a change to take yours off the car yet Just waiting for some decent weather. It usually starts pi$$ing it down as soon as i finish work here. I'll be in touch soon.

    Ride quality

I will do that. I actually bought a low mileage uk setup from an old and well known(I think) ex member on here who upgraded to a C.W setup. The uk setup was more stiffer than my jap ones!

    Ride quality

I would love a C.W setup but it's just the cost holding me back. I was hoping that there was another option like using good used Lexus parts to replicate the ride feel. I didn't mind the stock Supra suspension at first but now it's got a tad annoying, the roads are getting worse around here. I guess I'll just have to put up with for the time being.

    Ride quality

hi, How would one achieve a ride quality like a Lexus without going the custom suspension route ie. CW Setup? I want that gliding feeling where all you feel is the car moving forwards and not up or down. I once experienced this in an old Lexus and would love that feel in my Supra. I only use the Supra as a cruizing car and will probably never take it on a track. Is it possible to retrofit Lexus suspension parts as a straight bolt on jobby? Many thanks in advance.

    supra

Hi Mike, welcome, thats a fine Supra you got there.
  16. Very nice, i like that. Subtle and simple, not too OTT.
  17. Can I please see some photos?
  18. Nice one bud I cant remember where I put the ones off your lights. Ive already sand blasted them and they came out perfect, now I just waiting for some paint. Im gonna go with the black with chrome rings look. The white plastic bit attaches to behind the chrome reflector and clips onto the ball joint of the adjuster. I have photos and will upload when I get home from work. Kind regards, Iky.
  19. Hi, I need the 6 little shiny clips that hold the headlight lense on and also the little white plastic pivot type thing that clips to the lense adjuster screw at the back. Photos to follow of the bits I need so you can see what im talking about. I don't want complete headlamps, just the bit from broken ones. Thanks in advance, Iky.
  20. Good work that Neil My rear hub nuts show when I take the centre caps off, is there supposed to be a cover?
  21. I doubt it matey, I have big clumsy grippers Try an offset ring spanner maybe?
  22. I managed to get at it from the top, I could only see one but could just about feel the other one with my fingers. It wasn't that difficult just a little awkward. Rachet spanners would make it easier. Difficulty rating 5/10 for me.
  23. I'm hoping it's not but thanks for the sugesstion. But then I think I have another issue. The ride quality feels a bit rough. What looks like a reasonably smooth road feels all bumpy. Could possibly be linked to the jittery brake issue.
  24. No worries bud. Thanks anyway.
