  1. The inserts have been sand blasted back to bare plastic. Im just trying to find a way to do the chrome rings. Trying some chrome effect paint.
  2. Probably not, There's a headlight refurb guy on SF whos trying some new ideas http://www.supraforums.com/forum/showthread.php?634246-IMAGINETHAT-s-refinished-painted-headlights&highlight=
  3. No you send me the lock. If you can get it off.
  4. I suppose if you get a key made, you'll still have the same key for rest of the car. Send it to me and I'll get one made
  5. Ive had keys made to fit a supplied lock and also locks changed to fit a specific key. Its never cost me more than £20 edit - Ah, sorry, just realised your having trouble taking the lock system out.
  6. You could get M-life to have a look at it. He's in Oldham so not too far.
  7. Thats a good price for the headlamps.
  8. I think I have this as well. Is it like a fluttering noise from behind the central heater vent? It's hard to hear unless its absolutely quiet. I asked M-life to have a check but he coudn't hear it. Im going to see him again tomorrow. Hopefully we can trace it. I'm hoping for it to be a loose heatshield or something because I can hear something underneath which seems co-related.
  9. I paid £49 inc vat to have mine done at Just Car Clinic in Leeds. They used a hunter hawk eye machine. I believe the difference in cost is due to the fact that 'generally' (unless your being ripped off of course) the guys that charge 3x more eg, C.W & WIM are far more knowledgeble and can tailor the settings depending on what handling characteristics your after. The machine is incredibly easy to use but the skill is in knowing what degree/mm setting does what. Thats what you are paying extra for as it takes more time. £49 is a good price if your just after stock settings running stock wheels.
  10. Looked very nice, I drove past where you were parked on coleshill road and then we crossed paths outside the desi nawab hall, I was the guy in the gunmetal Supra who gave you a thumbs up as I entered the carpark.
  11. Hi, I just got a quick glimpse of your rear end whilst driving past I think the reg was L33 *** or something on those lines.
  12. See here http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?229299-Asap-help-timing-belt-supra-tt&highlight=brand+cambelt
  13. I believe some guys on here have had new cambelts look like that, with the big crack along them.
  14. Aye, as the man says above, its all one piece plastic. Another idea is if you know anyone who can make metal pressings that are stainless or alu polished to be glued on top of stock rings. Rather like the chrome dash rings you can get. Otherwise there are a few companies that do the electro coatings on plastic to enable it to be chrome plated. There are chrome 'effect' paints but they're a bit pants unless you're gonna spend mega bucks.
  15. There's a guide on here somewhere mate, Follow that and you'll be fine. I did
  16. Perfect. Looks pure evil in the first photo!
  17. Try to get some of the 3M automotive attachment tape, that's the daddy.
  18. Have you had a chance to get under and have good look? I've heard cases where the ARB's broken completely under the brackets.
  19. I actually find that strangely attractive.
