NO. A friend had one fail within a few months. I'm unsure of the make but it was a non- genuine one provided by one of the traders on here.

Theres a little spacer type thing on top of the rod. Is this correctly fitted?

I've heard of horror stories where the protector flies off the wheel and damages the wheel arch. I wont be using them

Did the backlash change much when you put it together? I gather if the ring gear is changed, then the backlash would now be out? -
Anyone on here? From what I cought a glimpse of, white pre facelift completely stock exterior. Not sure if uk spec or not but was on a L reg. Regards, Iky.

As Ric says, thoroughly check the tyres. I had slight bubbles protruding on the inside sidewalls of the tyres. Shook quite badly at over 50mph.
