  1. Sorry, not the bolts/nuts I ment the amount of play between the rubber and bar. Should they be any give at all when yanking it around.
  2. As the title, how tight should they be on the bar, should they be any twist allowed in the bar or should it be clamped absolutely solid ? Also I'm unsure if I should get the poly ones or stock rubber? Will there be any difference in 'feel' between the two? keeping in mind rest of the car is stock. The polys seem to be probably cheaper.
  3. Can you please get a photo of the tip Can't get a good one on google.
  4. No, it's usually the other way round but i suppose they could have been crossover years. Ie. cars with a bit of both depending what Mr T had to hand.
  5. Thanks Brendan, Just had a pm from him actually. So hopefully might be sorted No worries Chris. Sometime in the future
  6. Im pretty sure that certain switches will only fit in certain space. Usual order is - Heated seats Trac control Spoiler control.
  7. I was hoping SpikedJack would sell me his off his 1998 low miler but I think he may have already sold them.
  8. Really? Ive been on the lookout for a while now, must have missed them. Edit, Ah, found them. I have to be honest and say, it was the mileage that put me off unfortunately.
  9. It's a good price, my local motorfactor who is usually quite good with prices, quoted £80 for one of these of the same brand.
  10. Im after some excellent condition low mileage bilsteins. One's that don't knock or aren't seized only please. I have about £150-£200 to spend. Im not really after any springs as I plan on using my stock tt springs. Old and knackerered ones need not apply (had to write that bit- once bitten, twice shy) Thanks, Iky.
  11. Ive been on there David, but the new o-ring partnumber is down as being on a corrolla and not a supra. Also I could not find the partnumbers for the other heated seat bits but I have found them via Supraforums. Im just waiting on the coonector from Toyota and will confirm the partnumbers once I have them.
  12. Excellent video, thanks for posting that up Chris. Maybe it should be uploaded to the tech section ?
  13. Ok, to help out anyone else in the same situation, I phoned up a few other Toyota dealers and I have been informed that 90080-30040 supersedes 90301‑11016 So don't get your knickers in a twist like I did when they give you this new part.
  14. Ive got one but can't remember what side. yours for postage cost around £8-10
  15. The ones from Sparkplugs.co.uk are slightly cheaper i think. Around £50 Dox-0288 or something on those lines.
  16. Can i please ask, who does the re-chroming and how much does it cost?
  17. Also whilst were on the subject of part numbers, could someone please let me know the partnumber for the connector/loom for the heated seat switch. Thankyouplease
  18. Also if someone has a part number for the connector/loom, that would be great.
  19. OK, Some photos of the rear of the switch which i need a connector for, in the hope that there may be another connector off one of the other looms that may fit.
  20. Any update on those underbody grommets ? Edit - just realised the shell is now gone. No worries.
  21. I ordered a o-ring seal from Toyota for the PAS pump union. i gave them the part number - 90301‑11016 And I got this one when I went to collect. - 90080-30040 Now , i queried if this is a superseded part number but they couldn't tell me. They did seem rather incompetent the way they just looked at each other like i was talking Japanese If someone could please check if this is correct for my car. I havn't dismanteld it yet due to me using the car to go back and forth. Many thanks in advance, Iky.
