  1. I had an issue with a leaky core plug on the rear housing of the water pump. See if you can check all the core plugs on the rear of the engine. I remember possibly Chris W. or someone else putting up a diagram of the core plug locations. If you do need a local-ish garage, I can highly reccomend Matt at http://www.slidemotorsport.co.uk/
  2. Hi, Im doing a bit of wiring and want to remove the fusebox under the driver side kick panel. How do I get it free. Is there any fastenings at the top closest to the dashboard? Ive undone the two 10mm bolts at the bottom and taken off the connectors at the front. Is there some more connectors at the rear? How many? Thanks in advance. Please put up any photos that may be helpfull Iky.
  3. Hello again Do you have any of the mutiplug connectors that plug into this fuse box behind the kick panel
  4. You know what, you're right, i can't atually find them. i must have got mistaken. BUT I gues you didn't try google did you? http://www.supraforums.com/forum/showthread.php?435471-Are-All-Supra-Instrument-Panels-Same-Plug-In 90980-11114 & 90980-11116 These are only part numbers for the plastic connectors I'll try to find one for the terminals later.
  5. Poor lad, not the outcome that I was expecting. I couldn't help but laugh just a little bit (in my head)
  6. Congrats & good luck. I hope it all goes well for you.
  7. You can get part numbers from toyodiy.com New connectors are cheapish but the terminal pins are expensive like a couple of quid each.
  8. If the spring rates are different then yes.
  9. The actual shock bodies are NOT handed so are exactly the same both sides. But I do not know about the topmount bushings.
  10. Yes, that's the best idea to avoid contamination. Although it has been mentioned to use petrol/thinners to clean the reservoir pot as the mesh within it gets clogged easily.
  11. Thanks Stevie but it's not the one i need. Good luck with the sale. Iky.

    Hi from wakefield

    Hello, Welcome chap.
  13. Unfortunately it's one of those stereotypical issues. Always best to take an experienced person with you. Don't feel too bad, there have been times when i would so like to be a woman - Once I needed some brake pipe unions in a emergency so decided to call at the local kwik fit as it was the only place within walking distance. Went there, the chap stared at me for a second and said "no sorry we don't have any left" I went back miffed and thought, lets try sending my sister who was with me at the time and what do you know et voila! not one but five brake unions!
  14. Some more info usefull for retrofitting heated seats. The OEM seat heater switch is just a push-on push-off switch. The OEM switch just connects a common lead (power) to an output lead (the heater or heater relay) and lights up the internal LED. There are 2 output leads and 2 LEDs (normally for left and right seats). Here are the pinouts for the switch: 1: ground 2: power to LH seat heater (when button pressed) 3: illumination negative 4: main power in 5: illumination power 6: power to RH seat heater (when button pressed) For the "illumination negative" wire, it's best to run this to a similar wire, like the one on the cigarette lighter. This is not a true ground...it is controlled by the dash-light dimmer knob so that the switch backlight will dim with the rest of the dash lights.
  15. I would take my deposit back and take my business elsewhere. So you got it for £500 less than advertised, by the time you've paid for an inspection here and there (especially at Lexus;)) to get the windows sorted it wont be worth it. Plenty more fish in the sea and all that.
  16. Yep, will do. Yeah, I realised that when it came up with three partnumbers for my model on Toyodiy.
  17. Found these part numbers Quantity 1: 90980-10933 "HOUSING, CONNECTOR 6 PIN" Quantity 6: 82998-12440 "TERMINAL, FEMALE"
  18. Hows things Martin? Thanks, I will get some poly bushes sorted as one of the rears seems a bit weak.
  19. For anyone else in the same predicament, I got hold of the partnumbers - Quantity 1: 90980-10933 "HOUSING, CONNECTOR 6 PIN" Quantity 6: 82998-12440 "TERMINAL, FEMALE" The terminals seem to be the ones for coil pack connectors but with a little modification they will fit fine. Connector was around a fiver, the terminals were around the same EACH! so cost about £40 all in.
  20. No worries, yes, i'd say 2, maybe 3 out of the whole lot are a bit odd. By odd i mean the resistance they put up when pushing the rod by hand felt moreso soft/hard compared to the others. I know for sure that one of the fronts out of the four was knocking. i got fed up with pissing about. I also have a set of springs that were sold to me as u.k spec but i didn't feeel any difference between them and my stock TT ones. Although the fronts do make the car sit a bit lower than the tt ones. I would assume that they are stock NA springs. Actually, just remembered my stock tt front ones are tokico and the others are kyb. Anyhow, if nobody wants them after ive got some bilsteins, they will be binned. So your welcome to them.
  21. Bump, Prices are open to offers as I need to free funds up to buy some billies.
  22. Oi! get your own wanted thread! Just kidding! Anyway, I thought Spikedjack was offering you some Bilsteins on your wanted thread for your coilovers? After I've got these, I'll have two sets of stock black shocks. Im sure you could probably make one good set from two? You can have them for postage/collection.
  23. Looks like Burt Reynolds
