  1. On the VIN plate under "colour" http://www.mkiv.eu/typo3temp/pics/plakette_01_9a7283173d.jpg.pagespeed.ce.-3CAYLr46Y.jpg
  2. Welcome matey, good to have another Yorkshire man aboard. Looks like a good purchase for the money.
  3. Ah, I get you. That idea's out then. I can't remember for the life in me where I read about it.
  4. Haha! I commute on the bus as parking is a biatch around work. Bus drops me straight outside. If I take the car then the secure parking is about £12 a day.
  5. 7K in the 2 years that I've owned it.
  6. You could probably take both hoses off the cooler and use one to suck new fluid in and let old one flow out the other. Might be harder to control this way and I'm not sure if it's a safe method but I've heard about somone doing it this way on here I'm sure.
  7. Halfords sell a 5L can of I think Comma Dexron iii. Cost me £12.50 with a trade card. i think normal price is about £15. Works out a lot cheaper than the little 1L bottles but then you need a decent funnel as the 5L doesn't come with a spout.
  8. 1) I've had this on a few cars. Nothing to worry about. 2) Do you have LED's fitted or is it the standard colour? If it's standard bulbs then one or two might be blown. Theres a handy guide on here somwhere on how to swap them. 3) As you say, it's probably just a fuse or bad connection.
  9. Whats the fuel economy like Mr Mellon?
  10. If you can budget for it, how about getting Dave on here to wrap them in suede? Black suede would look lush on yours. Glossy black looks a bit tacky imo, a matt or satin looks how it should. All in my opinion of course.
  11. Great work you're doing chap. Keep it up!

    Water hose

Can cause overheating. Might as well fit another thermostat as well. They only cost a few quid.

    Water hose

Might have airlock. I mean a bubble of ait trapped inside. Also knackered rad caps can cause problem.

    No Room To Work!?

Have you thought about a car port type cover thing? The one that attaches to side of your house.
  15. The vac line controls the idle when your steering.
  16. Just double check that your boot is closed properly! I pulled my hair out for a full day trying to find out whats up with it only to find the boot was not closed.
  17. The hole in the door card is for a fastener that goes into the stock speaker pod behind. You might not have stock speakers? So there is nothing behind to hold the fastener. Just get one of those push fitting trim clips that will block the hole.
  18. Yes, Ultralight nurburgring (sp) They are also cheaper options such as BSA, Innovite, Dotz in similar style. But they are usually quite narrow. There might be some on ebay. Just search for supra alloys or 5x114.3
  19. Thats the one I got from sparkplugs.co.uk. Unfortunately it didn't last very long. I know it's a Denso like the stock one is. Im back to using the original one the car came with. Car seems to run a bit smoother and mpg has improved. God know why it never lasted. Go oem or go home is what I say! I hope you have better luck than me with it.
  20. Can you see exactly where it's coming out of?
  21. They can if it's not been done up tight enough. Probably best off doing an oil change at the same time. Get a new oem filter from Toyota. A thin smear or new oil on the new filter o-ring and tighten until the seal makes contact and then anothe 1/4-1/2 turn. For oil get some semi/full synthetic 10w-30 or 10w-40
  22. What? a short, dark, grinning chubby fellow, whats not to like!
  23. You mean like this one? http://mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?262426-TheTurtlesHead-s-Fuse-Box-to-Boot-Relocation-Guide Great guide by the way. I might even attempt it myself one day.
