  1. Had turbo go on ours as well. IIRC, it cost £350 for a new one. Recon was not far off so decided to just get a new one. Don't forget to get a new oil feed as well. It invalidates warranty apparantly on the new turbo if new one is not fitted. Turbo shat it self on the motorway nearly starved it self of oil but luckily engine survived. It took a few weeks for all the excess oil ibn the exhaust to burn off though. Dad had to drive everywhere with a smokescreen behind. Also flywheel went not long after as well, being a dual mass, that wasn't cheap either

    Supra Tech Poster

Found these for you, if they're any good? http://www.car-illustration.com/illustrations/toyota-supra.jpg - - - Updated - - - Google for supra cutaway poster illustration etc.
  3. how about leaving in in the middle like stock but get one of those hinge type brackets. When you drive fast, the plate flips under the bumper thus alowing airflow to your fmic.
  4. It's a push button on the tip of the stalk, Pulling the lever will only wipe Took me a good hour to figure it out when I got mine.
  5. Yes, good point! that would most likely be why. I tried to fit them in my facelift sidelights.
  6. They should fit fine. These are the buggers i bought, they don't fit lol! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2-x-ERROR-FREE-W5W-T10-LED-SIDE-LIGHT-BULB-13-SMD-Pure-White-/251170759214?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3a7af1a22e
  7. Possibly, just be carefull because I got something similar but it was too long to fit. The end was hitting on the lense.
  8. Looks amazing! Will you be painting the front grille black? Would look so much better that way.
  9. Not sure about the internals of the shocks but they are interchangeable. Spring rates are deffo different due to weight of car. Get in touch with Chris Wilson on here. New set of German spec Bilsteins with great aftercare. Forget Demon Tweeks.
  10. I have bought from them guys in the past many times. Although not through ebay as they are very local to me so I just go to their shop. I've never had a problem, they are good chaps.
  11. Amazing Nick, one of my favourite Supra's on here. Lotus isn't too bad either What exhaust system do you have? It sounds very nice.

  14. It's silver apparently from the dealers website - http://www.mattedwardscars.co.uk/used-cars/toyota-supra-3-0-turbo-3dr-auto-sutton-in-ashfield-201241487753558
  15. From past experience, I assume the '04' will be referring to the year it was imported into the country.
  16. Dynax S-50 for the rails and cavities, Something like gravitex or 3m stoneguard. That'll be the best combo. The dynax is way better than Waxoil. Not sure about a company to do it but maybe Jurgen at JM Imports can help. He underseals his fresh imports as soon as they hit the country.

    Key fob problem

Worth a shot trying a new battery for a few quid sake. What alarm system is it out of curiosity?
  18. Cheers bud. Ah, I used to go there as well once upon a time.. Re: roof, some tarpaulin from B&Q will do the trick untill you can get it sorted. Not nice looking but better than it leaking.

    Headlight Rings

Same here. I would also be willing to pay a little extra for ones that would last longer.

I thought about this as well I still think Stainless would be best, If they are made of thin sheet, depends how good the chrome plating adhesion would be on the edge of the metal. Imagine trying to paint a knife edge. I had a problem when I painted some brackets on my other car, I kept finding rust developing on the edges no matter how well I cleaned/painted it. Turns out the edge was so thin, paint would not cover it. and over time rust would 'creep' foward. I'm just putting out some thoughts. If anyone on here knows the ins/outs of chrome plating then please let us know some more information.

Stainless should be better than Ali I would think (with my limited knowledge). I know a lot of guys have problems with the headlights misting up which I assume would corrode any metal thats not resistant to moisture. From what iv'e read, there seems to be lots of different grades of ali available, some less resistant to corrosion than others. Yours seem to have held up great, nice job, but depends if everyone can get a good seal after they've fitted them.

Do you know if the facelift and pre-facelift rings are different sizes?
  23. Jurgen to the rescue! Nice one. What a great gesture from him

    Headlight Rings

    1. Iky - Facelift -dependent on fit & finish. Going by the quality of your recent parts, I'm sure the finish will be great.
