  1. Could some sort of malfunction have happened as a result of dodgy wheel alignment or over stretched tyres? Just looking at the vid title, I've seen some really extreme wheel alignment and really stretched tyres from the guys on that site.

    New guy from US

They go for big money, some on ebay now for $20-$50k. I always wondered why people here didn't just buy cheap Supra's and export them, earning loads of money from each car. Then I read Marc's post on the US rules and realised why.
  3. Well done My daughter passed her test 4 weeks ago, insurance is a bit of a downer though. Hope he likes his new car
  4. I'm not sure what the clutch would be like with the standard flywheel. I did buy a F1 clutch and F1 flywheel for my Subaru and it lasted about 500 miles. After that I bought an ACT clutch and it was very good. Andy
  5. Are these worth a look at?
  6. Is it?, He must have realised I needed the J-Spec ones when I asked him and sent them out. Apologies for giving some duff info there guys. Edit: I do remeber now that the ones that arrived came with two little rubber boots aswell.
  7. Ah I see where he got that from, I asked the seller when I bought mine and he said that the advert refers to the front caliper types for reference as apparently its easier to distinguish than the rears (bizzare answer). The picture is the correct item though. Not sure if that is the case mind, its pretty easy to tell the difference between the two rears aswell.
  8. Are you sure? I bought it for my J-Spec rear brakes and fitted them with no issues. Unless by chance they sent the wrong ones out and I didn't know any better.
  9. This is the seal kit you need Dave. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Toyota-Supra-3000-Brake-Caliper-repair-seal-Kit-R-4019-/270806020333?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3f0d4bf0ed Andy

no worries mate, try just 1x purple then 1x blue ontop of it on the ODO, then turn the lights on, if I remember correctly 2x blues make it too dark to read.

You can get it on ebay mate, I would recommend putting purple over first, then blue. Have a look at mine
  20. No worries mate, because they are self illuminating they need a little bit of wiring done, nothing too drastic though.
  21. Sometimes I wish I'd just bought a TT to start with, I'm lucky enough for the fuel not to be an issue but the missus is petrified of the Subaru and didn't really want to entertain a TT (she did go from a 1.0 Picanto mind). Now she's driven it abit shes alot more confident and likes the odd motorway challenge, so I don't think it will be long before a turbo arrives
  22. Same here, there isn't alot you can do with it though, without putting a turbo on it. Ours is used as the daily runaround though so most of my money goes on the weekend toy project. Once thats complete though I might have a go down the NA-T route, it doesn't seem to bad to do really.
  23. Could be a bit awkward with the missus and our daughter looking over our shoulders though.
  24. they are not too bad tbh, if you get them i'm not a million miles away, I don't mind giving you a hand.
