  1. I ended up buying the ARP's to be safe
  2. Just bought 1m of braided oil hose and only paid the p&p cost. Thanks v.much
  3. Possibly, a light weight crank pulley isn't recommended on these engines. Have a look at this guide, it also tells you how to check it. http://www.jack-frost.co.uk/toyota_supra_crank_pulley.html
  4. Hi all, Apologies if this has been asked before but I can't seem to find anything using search. I'm looking at getting some ARP headstuds for my NA-T conversion, but it appears that there are two types for the supra. One code is: ARP 203-4205 and the other is: ARP 203-4702 (Undercut??) I'm unsure what undercut means, which would you recommend? Thanks Andy
  5. Top man, thanks for that
  6. Hi All, I'm in the middle of preparing my engine for it N/A-T conversion. My question is, instead of purchasing a IS300 union bolt (on oil filter housing), would it be ok to just drill and tap the N/A union bolt? Many Thanks Andy
  7. There is one extra hole mate. The fog light switch looks like likea factory switch, but I'm unsure. If it isn't then another hole was made for that switch.
  8. I've just put two of the company Focus Tdi's into the garage (2008 reg), one of them has gone in because the sales rep said it kept on cutting out (has about 60,000 on the clock). they changed the fuel filter and had no luck. They then called me about an hour later and informed me that they have no record of the dpf regeneration additive going in the car on the third service, infact the last two services had been missed (our reps are responsible for their own servicing). They put the additive in and serviced the car. Luckily this solved the issue and it has now stopped cutting out. Now the next Focus (2009 with about 52,000).... This one started cutting out and hasn't missed a service, but the dpf is unusally blocked to the point it is totally knackered. I was initially quoted £1400 inc fitting and they reduced the quote to £800 after a bit of shouting. Ford actually recommend that the dpf is changed at 75,000 miles!! Both cars are now parked up and will be sold as seen, as there is no point wasting any more money on them. Not sure on your other issues, but the cutting out might have something to do with the dpf. Andy
  9. Sure, £14 inc postage would be fine. Edit: Sold to HateEvent
  10. Yes mate thats the part. It is fully intact, the panel could do with sanding and either painting or vinyl covered though, as it is a bit tatty.
  11. I can post to the Netherlands mate, I'll have to get a quote. I suspect the postage would cost more than the trim though. Here is a pic

    Petrol-Diesel

Petrol won't ignite in a diesel engine as it relies on the spark plug to ignite when the piston reaches the top of the cylinder. Those Ford diesel particulate filters are really expensive, we were quoted over £800 for one fitted today by the dealer.
  13. That's correct. it was on the car when I bought it, its some sort of gunmetal colour.
  14. I've been looking at C4S's, I really wanted one but I was informed (shouted at) by the other half that I had to grow up and get a sensible car instead of another toy, I've just ordered a new A4 S-Line..............Not quite the same though is it If you ever drive past Camberley in yours, let me know
  15. Can you afford a C4S? They look like pretty good value for money if the turbo isn't an option?

  17. Here you go: http://www.myparceldelivery.com/results.aspx?bsId=f8b548db-ef6a-44a1-945c-6eab39d54fcb Just click on the '2 days' tab and the price is £156.50+VAT for UK Main to Netherlands
  18. TNT will definately do it. Trouble is, the going rate for a parcel that length is about £150+VAT. Ken might have been a bit optimistic with his shipping quote.
  19. I think its about time I watched Cujo, should have watched it a while ago really. I've been looking at a couple of Paranormal Activity/Blair Witch type films, if your interested. Underground (2011) is one......I'm seriously clutching at straws mind, trying to find a really good film.
  20. Has any of the films you have recently seen been surprisingly good? I'm doing something similar, but watching just about any horror film that comes along, not many seem to have the same appeal as the ones i watched as a kid. Thought of an obvious one to watch..............Phsyco (1960)
