  1. what is your record then...
  2. i was a lucky boy i spos. detailing world is a good idea actually, will give them a topic when i'm ready. there is also an rx7 in white dumped behind someones farm. covered in mould. kitted up. i don't understand how people can leave perfectly good cars to go to waste??? the only reason this car got left was due to the crack in the exhaust. its craziness
  3. i used to b a T-CUT man..... but it would be good to use the right stuff. i'm all in for doing the work myself. any mechanical stuff too. i might be new to supras, but i'm not new to engines and bodywork etc etc.
  4. thanks guys. much appreciated
  5. would that get rid of the faded paint work? or will it likely need a spray job?? oh and its very dry underneath. needs a strip and clean, then undersealling. but the MOT bloke just couldn't find any rust holes. mainly surface. so very pleased with that
  6. nice and cheap. but just needs a good clean up. it started first time even after being stood for so long. but needs a full belt and oil change etc. so will need some help on that. if someone lives local and wants to pop over to help. i can supply the bacon and beer...
  7. Hi guys, well i have been on here for afew days now. and i have payed me membership. so i thought it was time to put some pics up of me supra. they are not detailed yet. i will be starting work on it in the next 2 weeks, as i need to source parts and prepare for it. basically this car has been sat for 2 years open to the elements. i payed £500 for it and have got it MOT'd which obviously it failed. it needs a lower or upper front drivers arm, new brake and fuel lines all through the headlights need abit of yellow polishing off. and the exhaust is split at the front where it joins one of the cats. so will be looking at replacing it. the brakes are spot on even after the time stood. the only mod on the car is a TRD replica exhaust system. Plaese go easy on me. and this car needs a good clean. its faded to buggery and i need to figure out what to use on it to get the paint at least near up to scratch. oh and abit of rust above the windscreen:(
  8. thanks for the info on that. if they are anything like ford. i'll get all the numbers i need first...lol
  9. i'll go see toyota on the weekend and see what they can do for me. might try and get some discount as i want to replace all nuts and bolts from under the car. and get brake pipe ends for my newly made pipes
  10. thanks for all your replys guys, mucho appeciated. i'll probo just get the scoop and repair my bonnet then, seeing as i will need to cut a hole into it. are they american based that company? always worry about shipping parts from the states??
  11. i just need them to get it through the MOT as my drivers side wheel is abit knocky or wobbly rather. so as long as they are good arms then thats fine. would you send the boot etc? or would i have to sort out a courier for that? not keen of couriers as they like to break stuff. but may be another option, if not for the boot. the arms at least.
  12. i'll see if a mate can collect it for me and then i can pick it up from him when i get back behind the wheel. i'll get back to you A.S.A.P to let you know either way as to not waste your time. just on the off chance, don't suppose you have a standard bonnet, front lower and upper arms for an N/A driver side front, the standard exhaust pipe with both cats from the manifold to the centre?? all for an N/A 93 model
  13. does this have the spoiler holes?? if it has no rust or dents i will just need to find out how to collect it. cos i'm in radstock, somerset and can't drive at the moment due to slicing my knuckles open ...........ggrrrrr. can you PM me your postcode please
  14. Hello guys. sorry i'm new, so hope i'm not sounding too much like a plum. but how hard is it to get a uk spec twin turbo bonnet?? do people make copies of them? reason i ask is i need to change the bonnet on me car because while it was sat off the road for 2 years, kids threw a rock on it and i'd rather not fill it and respray it. in other words its a good excuse to get one... well depending on money. it they are crazy money i'll just put the cash into something the car really needs for now and forget the bonnet idea:blink:
  15. this is brilliant. its hard to find good guides these days. well done mate
  16. YAY!!!! i'm a member now... do you have a rust and dent free boot and bonnet? what sort of price would you want for them?? black of blue would be nice??
  17. that looks more like jean luke picard and the star trek team....
  18. the way Dibbs works with me is. if your selling can i have first dibbs?? ok sure mate. ok mate its up for sale cheers where do i send you the money?? then i pay and get what ever i wanted the dibbs on. but yeah your right about most peeps. they always want what they can't afford at the time. its usually the peeps that have second and third dibbs that cause the long line of let downs. probo because they think the first dibber is going to buy it and just want to make pointless conversation. hope all that made sense
  19. well done mate. thats good work. i'm not a fan of this kit. but who cares. its a great feeling doing stuff yourself and think of the money you have saved. so whats next on the agender?
